Located on top level right on the beach great spot to overlook the beautiful ocean. My husband ordered the special amberjack nice piece of fillet fish, I had the ribs which were good I had extra barbecue sauce delivered. Bus service was great ! We were there last week, heard about the $30.00 three course specials. We were staying across the street so we decided to go there. We are not disappointed. It started off with a Caesar salad with nuts instead of croutons (for those that can have nuts) , the main course was delicious grouper and my husband got some sort of shrimp dish. The desert was a brownie sundae. As previously mentioned in another renew the waiter/manager? whose name was Donald was so friendly, sorry I did not get names of others, just a great restaurant. Sorry I did not have time to go back on this trip, but will someday!!!

The ambiance was nice and our meals were delicious! We hAd a member of our party celebrating a birthday and they all sang and brought out a sparkler cake. This restaurant has excellent food.mostly local but all is very tasty. The management is very experienced having been in the food businesbles for many years. The restaurant is small but usually fully occupied dfujrting peak times with a very active take-out traffic.The only disadvantage is that the chairs are not too comfortable but maybe they willtake care of this in the future.

We dined at this restaurant twice. Both times had an excellent experience. Loved their live music while dining on the beach. Appetizers, salds, main course and deserts were very good. We thought we would have a good local dining experience, but such was not the case.Things started out well enough with a large and delicious shrimp cocktail. Wine was a reasonable $26.00 for a bottle of sauvignon blanc.However, our entrees were blah at best. My fisherman's loot with garlic sauce did not taste of garlic. My husband's Gasparito chicken was dry, and the sauce was not a "succulent sweet tangy sauce." Perhaps I am used to some effort at plating these days. There was none at Gasparito's. The white rice was not worth the calories or the carbs.Service was uneven. The server who took our order and then spent his time talking and talking and talking to two women at the next table over. Overall, for what we paid, we did not feel our meal at Gasparito's a good value.

Nice awesome 100 year old home history here at the Quinta Del Carmen. The four couples from Florida made reservations here on Saturday and we had a nice outdoor table. A nice gentle breeze kept us cool making the outdoor seating very comfy.Good tasty, well prepared food mixed in with our cocktails and our white wine made this place a must try in Aruba. Great attentive service by our waitress who was on top of her game. Highly recommend this cozy home eatery!!!Enjoy!!!

The food here was excellent, along with the service. The setting is quite beautiful too as you can see the west, north and eastern edges of the island and ocean. When we were there (6:30 on a Tuesday night), there was hardly anyone there -- which was a little strange though.Dear Michele, Thank you for taking the time to review The Restaurant at Tierra del Sol. Thank you Trip Advisor for letting us know about this incredible restaurant. Each dish was extremely complex (perhaps too complex) with many different flavors and techniques that it was hard to keep track of everything we were tasting-- but it was fun trying! The overall experience, however, was fabulous. The result of having everyone mingle before dinner and again midway through (each time with complementary champagne), is a warm and enjoyable atmosphere that carries through the entire dinner. Not only did we eat amazing creative food, we also had an evening of conversation and laughter with people we just met. We will put this restaurant first on our list when we return to Aruba.
