While it's sad to leave the island paradise of Aruba, stopping in at One Happy Bar while you wait for your departure at the airport makes it much less painful! The staff and bartenders are amazing and oh so friendly. The "One Happy Island" is translated well into this "One Happy Bar"! we enjoyed drinks and some of their sandwiches while we waited for departure. They sell t-shirts there ---- gotta have one!!!!!

Aruban Rumshop meets Gastro pub with a nice assortment of Craft Beers and best wings on the island.
Reasonable priced, excellent food, great craft beer selection with a great mix of locals, tourist and expats and the local motorcycle gang. They often throw great parties with live bands and the waiters are super nice, although I think they are somewhat understaffed.

Iâve been here many times on several trips to Aruba. The food is great; cooked on a grill adjacent to the seating. Order from a menu laminated in the counter. You will be given a receipt with your order number Selections are offered in 1 pc or 2 pc. Order 2 pc. mainly if you are a big eater or sharing because the portions are large. Regular drinks are ordered with the food. Beer & alcohol are ordered from the bar. The servers will call out your order number in Spanish. It helps to Google translate your number if youâre not fluent.

In May 2003, The Dutch Pancakehouse opened its doors at the beautiful Renaissance Marketplace, downtown Oranjestad. This family friendly restaurant is ideal for breakfast, lunch and dinner with your whole family. The Dutch Pancakehouse offers a wide selec
Came here for a late morning breakfast. It was great and filling. You really know that you're getting your money's worth here, for sure. Drinks are good. So many different types of specialty pancakes to choose from. If you get anything though, get the poffertjes(silver dollar-sized pancakes). I promise you that you won't be disappointed! Best part of the meal! Plan to spend some time here as service can be slow on busy mornings.

The restaurant has a beautiful view but many other restaurants by the beach offer that feature. The guy who welcomed us was nice and friendly but the waiter not so much...food is good but a bit pricy compared to other restaurants and whatâs on the plate...and they charge you a 15% service fee automatically on the bill which I find should be left at the customerâs discretion. Over all... I wouldnât really recommend going there especially since there are many other restaurants to discover on the island.

Situated in one of the most upscale locations in Aruba, L.G. Smith's Steak & Chop House has a sweeping view of Oranjestad's downtown marina and the bustling boulevard. We proudly offers delicious American Steakhouse fare: juicy cuts of aged, USDA-inspecte
We tried this restaurant based on reviews from an Aruba Facebook group. The restaurant is very pretty and our server, Andrew was fantastic and full of personality. We ordered the special which was a tomahawk steak medium rare with Mac and cheese and butter potatoes as well as a side of creamed spinach. The three sides we split between the two of us were cold. That was disappointing. The steak was cooked rare, which I had trouble eating. My husband liked it, but it was definitely not the best steak we ever had. We shared the warm apple pie for dessert and it was fantastic!!!! In my opinion, the dessert was the best part of the meal. They also gave two bon-bons as a treat at the end of the meal which was brought out on dry ice. I didnât eat mine, but my husband thought it was good. We will try this place again next year, but we have had better steak at other places on Aruba.Dear Valuable Guest, Thank you for your honest feedback as well as for your time spent dining with us, we appreciate it. Sorry to read about your experience, not a LGS experience we want for any guests, we will inform our Executive Chef immediately. We do hope to welcome you back next year.
