New restaurant in Rio Grande/Palmer Puerto Rico. Huge, fresh hockey puck sized burgers with seasonings and fixins that just melt in your mouth! Ice cold beer, friendly staff, terrific owner (Mariza), fresh salsa with hint of cilantro and clean setting. All for a very reasonable price. Located just outside Wyndham, Trump and Melia resorts in Rio Grande. Try it if you need a great American burger and fries (or yuca)! Also excellent traditional Puerto Rican cuisine.

For a little more quiet venue at Rio Mar, try Roots. The food is prepared with imagination and innovation. It's comfort food meets island and has the best wine list on location as yet. The service is impeccable- thanks Pedro! My only suggestion to the chef is for the Mac&cheese to be creamier. That night, it was like the box I make for my grandson- good, but not special. Everything else on the menu we tried was awesome! The dining room was old New York style, with relaxing music and a fantastic view!
Tavern serving American-Italian influenced cuisine with an island spin, over 75 craft beers, wines and cigars. Located at 18.3755552,-65.806245
After spending 6 weeks in Northeast Puerto Rico this spring, Taverna Don Pedro was by far my favorite spot for food, drinks and music. Pedro and his wife have created a spot that offers one of the best menus in Puerto Rico topped only by the largest craft beer selection on the island. If you are lucky enough to meet them, you will immediately feel like family thanks to their gracious demeanor and friendly smiles. If you are there on the right night, Greg, his dreadlocks and his guitar will be sitting in the main room just past the bar strumming some great covers as well as originals. A large patio out back offers fans of cigars a perfect place to enjoy their favorite rolled dessert. When I return to Puerto Rico, Taverna Don Pedro will be my first stop. If I could give Don Pedro 6 stars, I would.

Is not our first time here. Usually service is average. Food is nice. This time the server was very rude and totally unconsidered. The family that arrived after us was ignored and she servrd another one. When the father called her attention about what was happening, she ignored him. They had to leave after waiting 15-20 minutes. My husband's sandwich came with mayo when he asked butter a couple of times. Coffee was good. What really disturbed me was when my 3 years old daughter had to go to the bathroom after 30 minutes waiting. The server said the bathroom was unavailable and if need it we had to take her to a bar on the other side of the road. A customer looked at me and told me they for sure had a bathroom for employees. The server turned her face away and couldn't careless. So we had to packed all the food and go a look for a place for our daughter. She didn't even asked us for help to pack the food to go. We paid $28 for 3 sandwiches and 2 cofees, we had to wait 30 minutes, not what we ordered, watch another ignored family on vacation, and packed our unfinished expensive food to look for a place for our daughter to pee with absolute no empathy, consideration or even kindness. We are not returning here.

We spent 5 days at Rio Mar and we ate 4 dinners here. The food and service are excellent. My teens think it’s maybe the best pizza they’ve ever had. The prices are great for a resort. Decor is great as well. Raily was excellent on our last night as were all of the waitstaff we encountered. We will miss this place and hope to return next year.

This restaurant has been completely renewed as art of the rebuilding of the St Regis. Dinner is now served and offers a good selection of entrees with a staff that while new are already providing truly caring service. It’s time to revisit this restaurant. Our dinner was excellent with pizza and pork chops.

A wide variety of options and choices. If you are not interested in the full buffet you can opt for the continental instead. Fresh fruits, yogurt, made to order eggs, waffles....to name a few. The price of the buffet is reasonable and the servers are attentive and very friendly. If you are hungry and do not want to venture off property, this is a great place for breakfast

It’s a well-known fact that time is irrelevant when you’re in a Margaritaville state of mind; after all it’s always 5 o’Clock here. This rustic outdoor poolside bar located at Wyndham Rio Mar, serves up bar bites, drinks and live entertainment daily, with
This was located on the resort we were staying at on vacation. Great drink selection and awesome staff. Swim up bar was fun and their food was great. We had the pork nachos one day and a skirt steak the next. Live music everyday at 5:00. Though this place is a fun environment and a great place to catch a game at the bar, it’s pricey. I know it’s at a resort and on the beach, but they take advantage that you are on vacation. Appetizer and an occasional drink is the way to go. There are better restaurants in the area for a reasonable price. Bring your on drinks and hit the beach literally 100 feet from the bar.

We had a fantastic lunch at this small, casual cafe after a hike in El Yunque on our first morning in Rio Grande. Waitress was super helpful, happy to answer questions and offer recommendations. Really good vegetarian options—the veggie quesadilla (with avocado and sweet plantain, “El Yunque style”) was amazing! Would definitely return if we stay in Rio Grande again.
