This renowned hotel boasts one of the most breathtaking views and marine locations in Wales, overlooking Cardigan Bay, the rugged coastline, the Teifi Estuary and the broad sweep of Poppit Sands. The Cliff Hotel & Spa offers guests luxurious accommodation, with all rooms having en suite facilities and many having a view over Cardigan Bay and the hotel's golf course. Guests are able to relax and enjoy the view in the bar or lounge. Luxurious spa facilities are ready to offer guests a perfect relaxation zone in which to unwind and indulge. The health spa hosts a salt water hydro spa, steam room, sauna, hot tub, gym along with treatment rooms including a couple's treatment room.
This could be a fantastic opportunity for this beautiful location to sweep the board with great reviews. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. First day the vegetables and roast potatoes were obviously old and reheated. Second day the raspberry Eton Mess was frozen solid and when we said it was disgusting the server just replied "I don't like it either" Every person who had it either sent it back (it was returned having been magically defrosted) or left it. Such a shame because it could be outstanding. We won't be returning.

Thank you for your interest in The Gwbert Hotel the hotel stands on the banks of the River Teifi at the estuary at Gwbert-on-Sea - renowned for its salmon and sewin - it is one of the finest hotels in the locality. The hotel offers high standards of accommodation with lift to most floors. We also have four self-catering holiday homes on the hotels grounds. The tastefully decorated bistro (Flat Rock) with its panoramic views of the Pembrokeshire National Park offers an extensive menu. with dishes to everyone's tastes. A romantic weekend at the ‘Domain of the Dolphin’ is a must for all couples who wish to have a "get away from it all" weekend break. So don’t settle for anything less. Call us today and see what a difference a little attention makes!
It may be easier for this review to list the reasons why I would never stay here again . abrupt ,rude attitude of female receptionist on arrival . specifically requested a twin room-it had been made up as a double. We then had to wait in the lounge for over half an hour while the beds were changed. We were told that we could have a complementary drink in the lounge. When my friend asked for half a lager she was told that we were only allowed a coffee(Price of half a lager = to a latte !!!) . Room3 was pokey and claustrophobic and immediately outside the window there is an ugly dirty flat roof . towels were so threadbare you could see through them as well as being so small .bedding, pillows etc were poor quality .breakfast was mediocre at best I would not recommend this hotel.

The Ship Inn is a friendly & welcoming place to stay, eat & drink. Perfect for those weekend breaks. All rooms offer amazing views of the beach which is only a stones throw from the Pub.
Filthy dirty seating, one waitress was extremely rude, poor quality food, small portions, the pub used to be amazing, clean, quality food with great service, they too were always busy but standards were always high, sadly now its owned by a brewery who clearly don't care. Some staff were attentive and polite but some let these down. Poor pub grub is how I describe the food, being busy is no excuse, Manager please make adjustments for this, customers are paying for good food and service and you are not offering this, so frankly you are certainly not giving us the experience or value for money. People have a drink on the terrace and take in the view but avoid eating here at all costs !

Poppit Sands is set in five acres of grounds stretching down to the sea, overlooking a fantastic Blue Flag beach that’s occasionally visited by bottlenose dolphins, seals and porpoises in summer. Horse-riding, cycle hire, boat trips and good fishing and birdwatching holidays are all available in the area - great for a family activity break.
Amazing stay as always with YHA, the couple who were volunteer managing the hostel for the week were amazing friendly people. Stunning location overlooking the sea just a few minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of communal space and all the self catering items you need. Will definitely be staying again.

I stayed at the red lion while away on business. The staff couldn’t have been better, rooms were lovely and the craic in the bar was great. We stayed in the bar all night watching the football and didn’t want to leave.

Came here again as all the staff are super friendly and the pub has tidy locals unlike some of rhe other pubs close in cardigan. I recommended my other work colleagues to stay here who always tell me they had a tidy stay here. Cheaper than the other hotels in the area with a tidy breakfast, What more can you ask for. Thanks for a nice stay once again guys. Evening meal was really nice as well. Hats off to the chef

Set amongst 900 years of Welsh History, Cardigan Castle provides the perfect combination of heritage and luxury. Stay in either of our well appointed B&B suites, or one of our beautifully decorated self catering units. Our next moment in history is yours.
My husband and I have visited twice in a two month period: the first time we stayed in The Coach House, the second time we stayed in The Stables, as The Coach House was booked up. The accommodation on both occasions was spotless, comfortable, plenty big enough and well equipped. The Coach House had a well equipped kitchenette hidden behind a well designed tall cupboard, a dining table and chairs, comfortable arm chairs and a television. There is a large walk in shower room. The Stables had a kitchen area and shower room across the small landing from the living/bedroom area (which also had a dining table and chairs, comfortable arm chairs and a twlevision) ; the whole area of this first floor was for the exclusive use of The Stables guests. The breakfasts were fantastic: a large range to choose from, tasty, and cooked to perfection. The staff who served us at breakfast during both of our visits, Rodhri and Jean, are super people, really friendly, happy, professional and efficient. In fact, all of the staff who we spoke to: restaurant, reception, cleaning and maintenance, were superb. We had an issue with some plumbing on our second visit and within five minutes of us reporting it to reception, the maintenance man appeared and sorted it. Another sign of a great organisation. Our primary reason for staying in Cardigan was to visit relatives. However, we took the opportunity to have a look around the castle, inside and out, and we found it very interesting. Overall, we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the accommodation and surrounds and the friendliness and professionalism of the staff.

The Granary Lofts are beautiful self-catering apartments in Cardigan town centre with their own parking. The location is perfect, right on the River Teifi with every apartment having stunning river views across to the town & Cardigan Castle. They are the perfect choice if you want a boutique, hotel style but with kitchenette facilities to make your own breakfasts or even grab yourself a takeaway & have a night in. They are all completely self-contained with their own living space, so you can really make yourself at home. There are five apartments - all renovated to heritage standards and suitable for couples, friends, families or groups. They don't have televisions, microwaves, dishwashers or WiFi. The nearest beaches are within 10 minutes drive & there is a fantastic walk on the doorstep of the Granary Lofts through the Teifi Marshes nature reserve to the Welsh Wildlife Centre. Skokholm (sleeps 2) - open plan with king sized bed, double shower room, living/dining area & separate kitchenette. Ramsey (sleeps 2) - duplex apartment with king sized bed, en-suite shower room. Upstairs is a further shower room & open plan kitchenette/living area. Caldey (sleeps 5) - duplex apartment with 1 x double bedroom & 1 x bedroom with bunk beds & a single bed. Upstairs is a shower room & open plan kitchenette/living area. Grassholm (sleeps 4) - duplex apartment with 1 x double bedroom (with small balcony overlooking the river Teifi & town) & 1 x bunk bedroom. Upstairs is a shower room & open plan kitchenette/living area. Bardsey (sleeps 4) - duplex apartment with 2 x double bedrooms & a shower room. Upstairs is a large open plan kitchenette / living area. It also has a small balcony overlooking the river Teifi.
my wife & I stayed recently in one of the apartments my wife sent you an e-mail but I would like to add my comments as well the apartment was very good with a great view across the river & weather was not that good but that can't be helped how ever I do take exception in your response that it was not an issue regarding the TV it actually smacks of a degree of arrogance in that you deicide if we should have a tv or not! it is an apartment in a town not a yurt in a field! your business model may suit that type of client you have on the farm but not many like ourself's what if premier inn suddenly adopted the same policy!! I can't understand how you have managed to trade at this site for 7 years & no one has ever mentioned the lack of support rails on the steeps up to the rooms! Also how you have come to the attention of the council on a health & safety aspect! I notice that you make no mention of suitabilty for disabled visitors as this is a real issue that needs attention ASAP I would suggest?

I was due to spend a week at this beautiful cottage over new year. Sadly due to Wales being placed Into lockdown, we were left with no choice but to cancel. Sea and slate were fantastic, very professional and honourable in providing a full refund.
