With my wife and two neighbours, I visited this recently opened restaurant on the recommendation of a friend and it proved to be a most excellent recommendation. I can but echo all that Stephanie6nt has send in her review but I would add that the ambience in this farmhouse restaurant was extremely pleasant and there was a great welcome by the chef-patron and his partner. Myself, my wife and our companions were all agreed that this was one of the most enjoyable meals that we have had.Nous vous remercions pour votre avis. Au plaisir de vous vous revoir.Fabienne et Philippe Bodin

My fiancé and I visited this restaurant while visiting friends in France. The atmosphere was very relaxing and the food terrific, with our duck cooked to perfection.

We came upon this restaurant on a quick visit to Carcassonne. We really wanted to try cassoulet while in Carcassonne and we weren't disappointed. It was delicious! We had a set menu that started with a really nice goat cheese salad, followed by a generous portion of cassoulet, and although we were stuffed, the meal came with dessert. Creme brulee and chocolate cake.Service was good and the servers spoke English. The restaurant was very crowded and people kept coming.

Just had a Sunday lunch here and very pleased to report that it was excellent. One should not be in a hurry - this does not mean the service is slow - it means that when the dishes arrive, they are really a piece of artwork and one can appreciate the effort that has gone into it.The lighting is slightly unusual and the ceiling is shiny and a good conversation topic. The entrance area is a bit formal but go into the ding area and the tables are well spaced and there is a good atmosphere. Service is friendly and attentive. A lot of thought has gone into the wine list and mainly regional wines an extensive choice and well priced. The cheeseboard is impressive too.We will return in the summer when we can eat outside and enjoy the food, wine and the view !Just thank you!!!!

After a good walk round the nearby barrage de Saint-Denis we had a sound lunch at this restaurant in the centre of a charming village. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the wines were good. There is no set menu, but simply either a la carte or the "plat de jour". Two of us opted for the "plat", which was a lightly spiced beef and rice, which we thought was tasty, but it was not particularly seasonal. But they did say they changed the "plat" very regularly so perhaps we would have encountered a more summery option on another day. One of us went for the cheese salad, which was attractively presented and more in keeping with a July midday. The desserts were good, although reasonably predictable. The outdoor terrace is on the side of the building, and is not particularly appealing, so this is definitely an indoor venue.

Located in the old Manufacture Royale of Montolieu, L'Apostrophe welcomes you in the big mansion, whether in the lounge with wood paneling, under the patio with large arches or in the gardens, lunch or dinner at the Apostrophe is always a special moment w
We visited the Apostrophe for dinner and drinks one night. It clearly a little early in the summer season and they not ready for guests yet. The buildings need a good clean up as do the grounds. But it is such a beautiful place and our meals were great. with a lovely host Frank. When in full flight it could be amazing. There is accommodation available.

Our Restaurant is open from Wednesday to Sunday, lunch and diner. Booking is recommended. On summer time concerts on saturdays on the terrasse
The restaurant is located centrally in Montolieu in a square next to the church. A great location to eat outdoors (although a falcon swooping down to steal one of the starlings in the tree above was rather startling!). The food was simplicity itself - and in a really good way. Beautifully cooked with obviously good quality ingredients. Very helpful and friendly staff. And reasonable prices too.

The restaurant Les Anges au Plafond offer a quality menu based on fresh produce, in a cosy setting in the heart of the Village du Livre.
Located in an interesting village, well known for bookshops, this family run restaurant (and B&B) serves very good value meals of excellent quality all at a very reasonable price. It was recommended by the owner of the B&B where we were staying, about ten minutes away, and it was a very good choice. We would be pleased to return again, which is more than can be said for some other restaurants we have visited.
