Reviewed By ivolucioI am not very demanding when it comes to accommodation in the beach because I know it is hard to keep it very clean. That’s why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 only. At this moment it is 5AM and me and my girl cannot sleep because the bed is simply a wooden box covered by bed sheets, difficult even to move because the sensation is that you are sleeping on the floor. We were joking that we believe that even in jail you get a better bed. The room was superficially clean but we did not find it pleasant. The room was smelly and to many bugs biting us all night long. The location is not bad across the beach but nothing much to do in the area. I see they overprice it in Booking.com, if I compare the rates I got by being Genius, the rates displayed in Booking and the rates they were saying to few people in the reception, we realized that if you pay more than 120 reais for this place you are being ripped off. I won’t come back there but if I had paid some 60/70 reais maybe we would expect the quality we got and would give one more star in this review. We found a small crab in the room but that was at least funny to see my girl freaking out. The internet does not work but we were informed upfront in the reception that internet was poor.

Mas tinha banheiro ventilador e televisao. Cafe da manha muito bom. Limpeza muito boa. A pousada fica muito bem localizada.

Refugio Massaguacu is located at Caraguatabuba , Massaguacu beach, one of the nicest place in North coast of Sao Paulo. The Facilicity has more than 3000 sf, with a very nice building considering 9 suites. A barbecue place and furnished kitchen are also avilable to guests. Preserved Nature is around the building (Mata Atlantica),birds, plants, trees, in summary a place to relax taking away the stress. A nice pool and tennis court are also available . The beach is few minutes away walking. The ownes will consider you part of the family and we are sure you will enjoy your stay. See you here!!!
Nice simple Pousada
Reviewed By Victor SThe place is a bit far away from the beach... but if you are on a car, in 5 minutes you get to the beach. The Owner, mr. Erasmo is really really nice and helpful, he makes a great difference. The pousada has an internal parking lot, and I felt really safe here.

Ok, depending on your need
Reviewed By B8B3I stayed one night at this hotel with my brother and parents. We only needed a bed and roof over our head between our arrival with bus from Santos in the evening until departure with bus to Paraty the next day. The hotel standard was far below what I would think of as a typical three star western european hotel, but it did offer what we needed. The staff was friendly, and the location seemed to be very good (I did not have the time to get to know Caraguatatuba) close to the beach and a small and cosy street with shops and cafés. This was by far the most affordable Hotel we stayed at during our three week stay in Brasil. The location was good, the staff friendly and the breakfast was decent. The standard was far below the comfort we enjoy at home, but it did serve our purpose, and considering the price we did not expect a luxurious stay.

Hostel con excelente posicionamiento
Reviewed By 588miguelvMe toco pasar un excelente fin de semana en este hostel, me gusto mucho la vibra que se siente y las personas que trabajan ahí son realmente maravillosas. Acogedor, super limpio, funcional y con fácil acceso a la playa Martin Sá, cerca ahí hay rutas para hacer traking, natación o simplemente mirar el mar y su atardecer, fiesta todo el día y la noche y también ir a otras playas con más y menos personas. De todas maneras pienso volver a pasar más tiempo.
