Sofisticated restaurante, with a french cuisine and brazilian flavour. Great taste in the decoration
Most dinners I had at Baleares were good, such as abadejo (pollack) alla Parmigiana and "Panelada de Frutos do Mar" (grilled seafood), but I also had ba experiences. I ordered a grilled sea bass fish dish, but Baleares prepared my dish with other fish that looked like a mullet fish. No need to say, it didn't taste any good as I hate strong flavor fishes, like mullet.
At least is a cheap place to have a lunch and environment is fine (confortable and pleasant).

Helio bar specializing in German cuisine, feijoada every Saturday with Pagoda, executives and alacarte dishes, weekend live music, beer Brahma
Hoje experimentei o Abadejo à moda do Helio, simplesmente sensacional, a cerveja como sempre, geladíssima e sempre pedindo mais uma, e hoje como em todos os sábados uma roda de samba deliciosa

The Restauraante Rascal's has the beginning of his career 27 years ago, when still young, Joao Carlos de Oliveira, the cheff and businessman John Rascal as is known, decided to open in an old house of his Father in paradise, and hitherto little trendy, Massaguacu Beach on the northern coast of Sao Paulo, a small restaurant by the sea. Born entrepreneur, John Rascal, had no experience ne nhuma kitchen (besides having always accompanied her mother, Dona Cida, preparing delicious and fancy recipes caicara cuisine, which was part of the daily lives of your family). But against departure, knew all about fish. John also says that his first adventures in the kitchen, came the need, when at age 15 he moved to a republic in Sao Jose dos Campos, in order to finish his studies, living with boys his age are not cook, certainly would not have what to eat. The son and grandson of large and renowned fishermen caicara community massguacu Beach, John caicara worked since he was 12 years old in a fish shop, located in the grounds where today is the Rascal's Restaurant, initially worked with the Father, but still young at 17 took over the business and was improving every day and taking more taste for his vast knowledge in fish. He worked for years in your fishmonger, known and famous in the city and also for the few tourists, today mostly patrons of the restaurant, who has attended beach Massguacu. So the need arises again in the john of life, and in December 1986 already 27 years, two children, a vast knowledge on fish and some adventures in the kitchen, John decides to open the Rascal Rascal's Restaurant. With the entrepreneurial vision and with much effort john pioneered and turned the former home of his parents in a small restaurant by the sea, to serve fried fish portions and prawns plus some typical local dishes such as Sea Blue (fish with fish sauce Green Banana). And, as envisioned by the young entrepreneur, the inauguration was a success! The success of the pioneering project was so great that soon in its first months of operation, John Rascal, faced some operational problems due to excess demand and lack of experience with this type of business. At the same time, john caicara, by coincidence or fate, met a cook who had just become unemployed, the mining matuto Alcibiades, and from that meeting was initiated to the success achieved in two and half decades, of Rascal's Restaurant. John joined all their knowledge in fish and seafood, impeccable knowledge in the art cooking that had the late Alcibiades, the Bida, as it was known. And together, exchanging ideas and knowledge and learning between them, set up a different menu with popular and traditional dishes today. John learned so much about the Bida, which today is one of the most known and respected leaders in the region. The partnership was so successful that soon the Rascal's Restaurant has become a benchmark and the most traditional and renowned restaurant in town, known by both tasty dishes offered to customers as friends to be situated in one of the most beautiful Beaches of the north coast. Recognized for excellence in cooking and for keeping alive the customs and traditions of caicara people, Rrestaurante Rascal's just turned 27 years of great battles, victories, growth and well-deserved recognition of your brand. Today the restaurant has beyond the hall know, won with much effort and work, an incomparable structure in the region, in addition to having a team always willing to give their best, with business objectives by providing quality both in our products as in your care and affection the most valuable asset of the company, its customers friends.
This place does very good seafood. We got a plate for two people and the portions were huge and very good value. We even took away the left overs. The staff were very friendly and happy to recommend dishes. The coffee was excellent also.

The place is located in the seaside boulevard, and is easy to get and park.
It is a restaurant, but with the ambient of a bar, so you can choose from finger food or meal/dish.
The menu is varied in food and drinks, we tried different dishes, and all were tasty and good quantity to share.
They also have live music some nights, and the musicians performing the night I visited, were very good!
The service is good and quick.

Pratos bem preparados e servidos de forma farta, criando uma boa relação de custo e benefício. Ótimo atendimento pelo Antônio, Jurandir e equipe. Como drink, vai a dica da caipirinha de caju, preparada no capricho pelo Antônio..

Tapera Branca Restaurant serves the best in terms of brazilian food, with a complete buffet with traditional recepies from the state of Minas Gerais such as "Feijoada", grilled porc rib, "Tutu de feijao", "dobradinha", etc. Also you can always find a great variety of salads, pasta and sea food. The restaurant operates on the self-service system by weight, in which the costumer pays for the amount of food taken from the buffet.Tapera Branca was founded in 1995, and is known by its quality and the good flavour of its recepies, which are traditional from the house of brazilian home, without industrial made condiments.
I liked the BBQ area and the wonderful meats, although it was a little canteen like, the food was delicious and plentiful and nice place to enjoy lunch on a rainy day as did we...

This restaurante is very beautiful, has an green area outside and very nice interior. His name indicates that is an sea food restaurant, but have an variety of meat's and other options too. Another cool tip is some special brazilian beers avaliable. The only inconvenient we have in this day is that the beer isn't much cold.

Gergelim Pizzas. Massa fina com borda crocante. Pizzaria confortavel. Decoracao ecletica, estilo rustico, ingredientes de qualidade, organicos. A maioria dos ingredientes sao da nossa regiao, Caraguatatuba, Natividade da Serra e Mogi das Cruzes ( verduras). Forno a lenha. Experimente a Pizza Praia, vencedora do concurso gastronomico Caragua A Gosto 2012.
It's a bit off the main path and the area left us a little confused. But once we found it we couldn't be happier. Thin and crispy like real Italian pizzas, along with friendly and helpful owners. Our 3 year old refused to eat pizza...MoreMuito obrigada, foi uma satisfação atende-los! obrigada e voltem sempre!

Golfinho used to be one of the sea food restaurants in Caraguatatuba, but it seems they replaced their Chef. I ordered a "Mariscada Lambe Lambe", a kind of mussels paella (without saffron) but it doesn't remind anything that is used to be. They used "uncle bens type rice", what is unacceptable. Rice was hard, very hard, and the dish missed coriander.
I didn't try other dishes but I don't expect to go back there because of my frustration.
At least all waiters are kind and polite. Good service indeed! But food quality ... no way!

Very satisfying experience visiting this place.
There is an interesting variety of dishes, covering all tastes, from traditional dishes to customized tasty dishes, or for kids.
The service is quick, and they explain every doubt about the dishes.
They have their own parking lot, and the surrounding area is very nice.
It is a little pricey, but is worth the price.
