Burger Joint located in downtown ReykjavÃk. Naturally made burgers (meat or veggie) with organic ingredients. We offer the classic BioBorgari burger and a special burger which constantly changes according to the availability of ingredients from our local
After struggling to find decent veggie food in Reykjavik, I stumbled across BioBorgari when searching via Google. The menu is small but everything is freshly made and the veggie burger was really moist and full of flavour. Get there early as it's quite a little place so you may not get a table as it's popular with the locals and you can't make a reservation. The owner is friendly and responds quickly to online queries. Will definitely pop back if I visit Reykjavik again. Thanks for the feedback, Cat! It was great to have you and that you loved our veggie burger is a plus, since the veggie patties are made from scratch by us!We have a small cosy restaurant but since we serve "fast food", usually the customer flow moves quickly enough for people to seat by the time their food is ready. We also have compostable take-away packaging, which is another popular option for locals as well!Thank you again and we hope to see you in a nearby future on your next visit!Safe travels!

Lamb Street Food draws much inspiration from Iceland's rich gastronomic past. Here you'll find the happy marriage of high quality Icelandic ingredients and age-old culinary traditions from the Far East. Quintessentially Icelandic with a taste for world cu
The wraps these folks make are over the top . You can order their 3 basic wraps or do a custom one . They are super fresh and very good . The mixes the use is a great fusion for the taste buds . Itâs not a fast place , but the staff is really nice and do great job . The place has a nice modern decor and free parking out side which is nice . Thanks a bunch for this really super nice feedback - it's such a joy & happy trip for us to read :)

GOTT is a healthy, creative family owned restaurant in Vestmannaeyjar, Iceland with fresh, authentic ingredients. The restaurant makes its breads freshly every day and all food is made from scratch every day. Fresh fish from the fish marked. The head chef
We were lucky to book an early evening table at Gott on a very busy Friday. Attentive, friendly staff, warm, bright restaurant area. The menu layout is slightly different and works well offering "easy to try" dishes with international influences. These are brightly presented on stylish crockery. Loads of room, clean and inviting.Do visit Gott - it is just right and well managed. Hi Michael A,Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate it very much and we hope to welcome you back at GOTT next time your in ReykjavÃk.Best Regards,Klara Ãskarsdóttir

The restaurant is named after Sumac, a deep red berry that grows along the Mediterranean coast and throughout the middle east. The smell of our coal grill will greet you as soon as you enter, where we cook a mixture of meat, fish, and vegetarian dishes. W
We were exhausted from a day of travel and just wanted a lite bite. This place was perfect. We began with a hummus appetizer that was delicious. I had the falafel and my sister had the cauliflower....as did the couples surrounding us. My husband had the Cod and my brother in law had the shrimp screwer.... just enough delicious food for all. The bottle of wine was perfect and allowed us to sit back and review our fabulous day in the most majestic island I had ever been fortunate to travel to. Yes, I have been around the world but never experienced nature in all her glory as she has blessed Iceland.

Had the marinated (ling) fish dish with couscous and an assortment of veggies(shredded cabbage, beet etc.) with sweet potato, raisins and yogurt. It was delicious. Staff were friendly. I would def. hope to go back some day. Ideal for vegans too. Reasonably priced compared to most other restaurants.

Open for for lunch Monday to Friday and the whole day and dinner Tuesday to Saturday. The restaurant is closed on Sunday's.Gallery Fiskur is located next to the Arbaer open-air museum in Reykjavik and right by one of the main roads from the city center. I
In an unusual location outside of Reykjavik , you will find Gallery Fiskur, an excellent place to get fresh seafood. The citrus cured arctic char is an excellent light starter, with the crunch of a nut and crouton mix and pomegranate giving it an elegant complexity. The peppersteak halibut is excellent, fresh meaty halibut paired with a strong black pepper coating, with a nice mushroom cream sauce. The plokkfiskur- cod with mashed potato and cheese, is a traditional, decadent Icelandic dish . The Haddock Monday style also was a nice set of fillets, with potatoes and seared vegetables. They have a selection of drinks- wines, beers and softdrinks. Service is friendly and provides good suggestions. Nice place for good tasty seafood.

Family owned and run restaurant in the heart of ReykjavÃk. Cosy and relaxed atmosphere with traditional Icelandic quality food and personal service.
Reykjavik Kitchen does not take reservations but it's well with waiting for. Arriving 7:30P on a Saturday evening we had to wait approximately 45 mintutes. You can have a drink while waiting but there's really no room other than standing room while doing so. When we were finally seated, everything was brought out in a timely manner. Our group of four ordered the same appy's and entree's. That was too funny. Starting off with a salad we then each ordered the coffee smoked salmon and we had the black pasta for our main course. For dessert we spit the homemade vanilla ice cream with hot raspberry sauce sprinkled with chocolate ash. Fantastic to say the least.
