Burger Joint located in downtown ReykjavÃk. Naturally made burgers (meat or veggie) with organic ingredients. We offer the classic BioBorgari burger and a special burger which constantly changes according to the availability of ingredients from our local
After struggling to find decent veggie food in Reykjavik, I stumbled across BioBorgari when searching via Google. The menu is small but everything is freshly made and the veggie burger was really moist and full of flavour. Get there early as it's quite a little place so you may not get a table as it's popular with the locals and you can't make a reservation. The owner is friendly and responds quickly to online queries. Will definitely pop back if I visit Reykjavik again. Thanks for the feedback, Cat! It was great to have you and that you loved our veggie burger is a plus, since the veggie patties are made from scratch by us!We have a small cosy restaurant but since we serve "fast food", usually the customer flow moves quickly enough for people to seat by the time their food is ready. We also have compostable take-away packaging, which is another popular option for locals as well!Thank you again and we hope to see you in a nearby future on your next visit!Safe travels!

Potturinn og pannan (The Pot & pan, since 1982) is a family friendly restaurant, popular for it's relaxed atmosphere and delicious cooking, offered at reasonable prices. We offer the modern traditional Icelandic Cuisine, based on our cultural heritage and
My friend and I stumbled across this restaurant for dinner on our way to another restaurant, but we stopped here instead. It was a cosy atmosphere with nice staff. The food menu excited me and I eventually settled on the seafood gratin, which was lovely. I felt the prices were reasonable for dinner in Iceland. We liked it so much we went back the next night. We then went there for buffet lunch after reading the positive reviews on here, but personally I would give it a higher rating for their dinner menu than their lunch buffet. I would recommend this restaurant and would happily go back there should I return to Iceland.

Our dinner at Snaps was an early birthday celebration during a short visit to ReykjavÃk. The whole evening was a delightful surprise. The atmosphere on arrival was warm and welcoming and our waitress, whose English was pretty much perfect, talked us through the menu and specials, advising us with humour. She also advised us on wine choices, with great results. The food was really delicious and served promptly, which in view of how full the restaurant was pleased us. A really great experience.

Found this restaurant whilst out searching for lunch, menu and reviews looked good so booked using their website. Was such a surprise to visit as it looks completely different inside. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Menu was good and offered different options including a set menu option. Food did not disappoint and booked again a couple of days later with just as good an experience! Would definitely recommend.

We were lucky to book an early evening table at Gott on a very busy Friday. Attentive, friendly staff, warm, bright restaurant area. The menu layout is slightly different and works well offering "easy to try" dishes with international influences. These are brightly presented on stylish crockery. Loads of room, clean and inviting.Do visit Gott - it is just right and well managed. Hi Michael A,Thank you very much for your review. We appreciate it very much and we hope to welcome you back at GOTT next time your in ReykjavÃk.Best Regards,Klara Ãskarsdóttir

What a cool restaurant! We had a large party that made reservations and we sat down in a cellar-like part of this restaurant. The low lighting, stone walls, and local decor all added to the ambiance of the place. Service was attentive and the food was excellent! We began with fresh bread & Icelandic butter with sea salt and a fresh mackerel amuse-bouche served in a tiny little ceramic pot with a green pea sauce. It was artistic, creative, and delicious. Next up was a cod medallion with a honey glaze, kale, and pea shoots - delicious. The entree was a nice, rolled up plaice fillet and a tender piece of Atlantic perch with broccoli and a wonderful sauce. All of the sauces, seasonings, and presentation were spot-on. Dessert was a delicious white chocolate brownie topped with a sweet pasty crust and creme fraiche ice cream. From the wine choices all the way through dessert, this was an absolutely wonderful meal and I can honestly say - one of the best we had in Iceland!

Laug-As was suggested to me for my motorcycle tour group of 10 people for our 'Welcome Dinner'. With a great reputation for excellent food, I wanted the group to experience more than just one entrée. Chef Johann and the owner accommodated us perfectly. Guests tried things they probably never would have if not for the Family-style method of being served. So the lamb, the Beef, the Fish were all fantastic... and the special desert was also a topper.
