Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of very different types of people who have shaped the identity of each of its neighborhoods. Wave after wave of immigration, along with the porteños’ penchant for looking abroad, have infused each area with its own unique features, be it Recoleta’s aristocratic legacy or San Telmo’s love affair with tango.

The territory is, in fact, one of the biggest playfields of Chila's cuisine, and over the years the restaurant has rather inadvertently created a unique map of Argentina's regions with each of Pedro Bargero's menus or chapters. This map takes the country
Just go. Excellent food, service and wine, great presentation, worth every peso. I had the tasting menu paired with the wine package. They are both generous, wine is topped up and there are several small dishes in addition to the 7 on the menu. In total, at least 10-12 items. Delicious.

Walking into St. Regis Restaurant´s large Winter Garden-style dining room, guests are greeted by warm, soothing golden and peach tones complemented by crisp withe table linenes, dark wood accents and sophisticated nuances. Large windows overlooking the ci
St. Regis continues to provide good cuisine and superb environment. Breakfast and lunch are great, especially if you are lucky to have Vanesa or Andres helping you (they are both great). For dinner, our impression is that St. Regis is not at the level it was a few years ago. It is still good, but it used to be spectacular. In two occasions we were unable to drink the wine we wanted, even though they were in the list.

At Rufino, we rediscover the most famous argentine dishes, focusing on its different steaks. We did this with the help of two young and well known chefs, with a proud argentine and creative menu. We cook with prime raw materials, produced locally througho

Savor a meal worth remembering in one of Argentina's most spectacular settings. Bistro Sur's whimsical Philippe Starck décor will fascinate guests just as much as the delicate menu prepared by Faena's local chef, Rodrigo Vazquez. Modern techniques combine
To be fair, our experience may have been the result of an extraordinarily low capacity night. That said, Micaela Baum offered excellent suggestions for our meal and then suggested wine pairings. These were not standard pairings but included suggestions that complemented the dishes as well as our own biases in wine. The beef carpaccio was light and flavorful and paired with a Semillon from Patagonia; the octopus was paired with a Riesling both of which worked beautifully. The piglet and lamb were excellent; the former so light, the latter a nice contrast of flavors with Moroccan influences (pairings were a Merlot for the lamb and a Pinot Noir for the piglet). We finished with the goat cheesecake -- excellent and different. Service was attentive. We had a wonderful evening (we started with cocktails in the Library, adjacent to the restaurant). Overall, recommended for a special night where you want to focus on the flavors on the palette.
