We visited Le Capre on the advice of our taxi driver, an excellent choice. They were very accommodating and understood exactly what we both wanted as we like to order different things so that we can share. Had a beautiful starter of crab gratin and breaded shrimps, followed by some lovely grilled fish, dorada (I think) and completed our meal with a delicious ice cream, fresh coconut and nut dessert - absolutely scrumptious- they also make one of the best mojito that I have ever tasted - all this plus the owner serenades you with some pretty chilled out songs - all in all a lovely night and we will try and get back before we go home, thank you.

I have been passing this place for quite some time now and always wanted to try it out. Well, I finally did for a quick lunch and I left as a very happy customer. It's a small place with limited selection but all the foods are prepared with lots of dedication and skill. It's very much delicate home cooking and a nice change from all the other restaurants in the area.... for once i left a restaurant on the island without feeling bloated and full.
Next will try breakfast ....

Linda offers typical Mauritian dishes as well as food from around the world for those not brave enough to tackle creole spices ! During the day, you can enjoy a nice coffee with our famous banana tart or sip on a cold milkshake. At Linda's Place is a small family cafe/restaurant where Linda and her two sons will make your dining experience as homy as it will ever get. Hope to see you soon...
Had a great diner at Linda's...loved the curry!
Some people mentioned that it is closed often..it is not but you just have to park and the restaurant is a small step down...
From real mauritian food to international food..everything is possible..
Please remind to pay cash as in more mauritian restaurants
