I email you about this restuarant a couple weeks ago, but have received no reply. I discovered it during my last visit to El Paso, and it's wonderful! Please let me know when I can post a review.
If you loved the old Griggs, past tense, you will love Peppe's. Many of the old dishes are on the menu. ICX Burritos, green chili enchiladas with tomato, and their queso is great.

I have been coming to Little Diner in El Paso since I was a kid - I am now approaching 50 years old. The Little Diner is an El Paso institution. My husband and I ordered Chile Rellenos and Gorditas. Sadly, my Chile Rellenos were so oily, greasy and lumpy I couldn't eat them. We were the first to order and so perhaps the grease was not hot. The gorditas were still good, but thinner and missing the crisp outside/softer inside of the former gorditas. We will try Little Diner again, but we do hope the quality of food is restored to its former quality.

My favorite Greek food restaurant in El Paso. Service, quality, price and portion sizes are noteworthy.

This is a regular stop for me and my husband. It is a small little hole in the wall and very popular with the locals. We have never had a bad experience here. We love the aguas frescas! My husband usually gets the coco y nuez and I like the fruta or the pina colada ones. They are huge and a great price. We also love the flautas here. They are served with sour cream, tomatoes, avocado, onions, and a guacamole sauce and hot sauce. They also have a lot of mexican street food or carnival food like corn in a cup and dorinachos (nachos made with doritos). I recommend Tepalca to everyone.

Located in Shortys gas station behind the outlet mall. 915-877-7307 or 915-253-3689
Maracas is a little gem situated in Shorty’s gas station (yes it's in a gas station) behind the outlet mall in Canutillo, TX (a few miles West of El Paso, TX city limits), run by a native from Puerto Rico. As a native Miamian (Florida not Ohio) I can tell ya that this is the BEST Cuban sandwich outside of the state of Florida. Menu includes standard gas station restaurant (is there such a thing?) fare e.g. hamburgers, wings, Philly Steak Sandwiches, plus old Caribbean standards like steak sandwiches, roast pork sandwiches and the likes. On the weekends batches of Puerto Rican favorites are prepared. Maracas is so good locals of Mexican descent visit this spot regularly to taste other variants of Spanish culture! Don’t miss it. One stop and you’ll be hooked. I know I am. Easy access from both I-10 East and West.

Bar-B-Q was added to the operation in 1989, and Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q has been serving up tasty food ever since. The same original recipes that built Rudy's Leon Springs' reputation are now available throughout the Southwest.
Don't be fooled by the gas station convenient store! This place is outstanding! A bare bones barbecue place. You walk in, select your bottles drinks including beer, select your various sides from the refrigerator which come in different size containers. Tell the cashiers which meats you want and the size ...anywhere from 1/4 pound up. They line a bread crate with white deli paper then put your meat selection on top. If you didn't want bottled drinks, you can get fountain drinks and refills are free. The Turkey is superbly moist, the jalapeño sausage has a tinge of hotness to it, the brisket is very moist and flavorful. Actually, every piece of meat they cook is so full of flavor. Their 3 bean salad is great as is their Cole slaw.
We’ve also eaten, several times I may add, their breakfast burritos! So yummy! Do eat here if you happen to be in El Paso!

The tamales here are very good because they have a generous amount of filling so that you aren't eating just masa. The tamales are also moist so you can re-heat them without them drying out.
We hadn't tried the chicharrones until now and they are really good as well. They were meaty and crispy perfect for snacking.
They sell a variety of other food items which makes it a good stop for families with different tastes.

We each ordered a taco plate (beef and pork) and were both impressed by the portion sizes. Next time, we know to share something. The limes were very dry, but everything else was good. The fries are large and freshly cut, and meat well seasoned.

Craving a delicious burger but don't want to spend a ton of money? Make McDonald's cry and stop by here. We always enjoy going here before our shopping adventures at the nearby outlet mall. They always have great service and we love the jalapeño burger! Support this family chain and get a better quality meal and more bang for your buck!

They just get it right: eye-popping flavors, great service, and passionate cooking! We’ve been here for breakfast and dinner. Both experiences were impressive.
