So for a little reunion my partner and his friend and his wife made a reservation at this establishment. Apparently it;s their favourite steakhouse in Zurich vicinity, The restaurant sits on a beautiful spot next to a little castle/ mansion. The view from the terrace was stunning. But it was cold mid-September's eve, so outdoor seating is out of question. All 4 of us ordered different cut of meat and sauces. All satisfied and maybe a little regret on my part for ordering the smallest cut, mainly because i am a slow eater, really really slow, but otherwise everyone was happy. The service is prompt and efficient. Our waiter speaks both German and English, so no problem there, either. Portion was generous and tasteful, we had to forgo the dessert for coffee. Will definitely refer to friends to try it if they happened to be in Uster, for some reason :)

OK you've read the other reviews, the prices are higher than when it was the Red Ochre, its Switzerland get used to it. What this appears to have achieved is that the teenage kids who used to sit about in the corners on their phones all night with 1 beer, have gone, hurrah. Nice mixed clientele, great after-work atmosphere with professionals now. Food is wonderful and plentiful, ambience and decor is fabulous, so authentic. I love the brit-pop and classic rock which is played in the bar, takes me back to my UK days. Well done TBH, you did a great job!!

As Americans living in Switzerland we are constantly griping about the quality of beef sold here. This local hang out defies expectations and consistently delivers top quality steaks, stroganoff, paprika beef etc. Prices are mid-range for a Swiss restaurant, but a good value considering the quality of the meet.
