Tony runs his pizza parlor himself with the aid of 3 staff and offers a selection of pizzas, salads and associated snacks. A local publication famed him for his thin crust pizzas and, perhaps thanks to the newly found fame, business seems to be brisk. In fact, so brisk that, when this hungry traveler placed his order later in the evening., he had run out of doe. Tony prostrated himself and explained at length that this had never happened before. So we had a salad which was fresh and well made. Later, the doe crisis resolved, Tony offered some pizza bread served with fresh thyme and it was indeed thin, crisp and very tasty. Service was attentive, the bill reduced to compensate for the doe calamity and a well sated and happy customer walked into the night.

We found this little place by accident and were very happy we did. It has a good sized patio area and inside seating. I went once with a co-worker and again later by myself. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our drink order was promptly taken and the staff was very patient with some translation of the menu into English.I had the caprese salad and it was fresh with the right proportion of each ingredient. The pizza is cooked in a wood-fired oven and served hot. The pizzas really are big enough for two to share, but many were eating their own. It seemed there were mostly locals eating each time I was there and the place was busy both times.I sometimes travel through Zurich and have long layovers. I'll be going back here!

Everything fits here: from the warm welcome by Franco via great starters and a very tasty pizza or pasta dish (or maybe a bistecca) and the not-to-be missed homemade Gnoccis ! Chef & staff are very friendly ! Very recommendable !

We went to Taverne Roos as a friend recommended the pizzas. We ordered their speciality - a metre of pizza, divided into four sections with different toppings. It was very good and crispy and fairly priced. Staff was not very attentive though and the location is a bit far out. Despite that I would recommend it as well.

The restaurant has changed ownership a few times, now finally a very good Italian restaurant in the area.I've been there 4 times recently, and we ate different dishes from pizza, to beef (tagliata) to pork (porchetta), different salads as well. We were always happy about the quality of the food and pleasant service.My family is Italian and it is not not easy to find this quality of Italian food in the region.Wines are also very good and at decent price.Highly recommended.

This Italian restaurant offers not only a wide range of excellent pizzas (created with the help of a huge 'Pizza Holzofen'), but also other freshly prepared Italian dishes and seasonal specialties. Nice atmosphere with acceptable prices and very friendly personnel.

closer to schindellegi than to wollerau, they have a wide menu with apetizers, salds, soups, meat, shrinps, pasta and pizza. their pizza "fabio" has a good truffle taste and smell for 23 sfr. honest home italian food at an average all included of 50 sfr per person

Accidentally walked into that little street next to the post office and found this little Restaurant (re opened in Nov 2017); made reservation for the same day. After a very friendly welcome we decided to try the pizzas. Only fresh ingredients and a great consistent of the dough; thin and crispy. What a treat. We definitely will go back as Gustav is better than the other ones... We attended here for a few beverages and a pizza. The restaurant was packed...which is generally a good sign. Most staff could not speak English, so that was a bit of a challenge for us. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our meal, beverages & ambiance.

The service is often good (not perfect but friendly and accurate. Some times a bit long). The menu is always good or very good. I never had a disappointment and always select something new. I have also been there with my family in the eve and was quite busy, confirming it is indeed a good choice!
