The Pavillon, Baur au Lac's recently refurbished restaurant, features fresh and modern cuisine within an environment that effortlessly fuses contemporary and classic style. Head Chef Laurent Eperon creates an artful combination of traditional ingredients
My husband and I had one of the most unforgettable culinary experiences of our LIVES at Baur au Lac's Au Pavillon! The Chef is incredibly talented and the menu changes regularly. Truly a delectable variety of traditional Swiss fare, the Swiss veal is not to be missed, with the most beautiful cheese cart we have ever seen to follow for desert. Wine pairing is definitely recommended, we were in heaven!Dear lexandzachtravelThank you very much for your visit and for sharing your feedback here on TripAdvisor. It makes us very happy to hear that you have fully enjoyed your recent visit and that we succeeded in meeting your expectations. We are especially flattered to read your compliments about our Swiss specialties and wine offer.Feedback like yours are what keeps us motivated every day. We hope to welcome you back soon at restaurant Pavillon.Kind regards,Aurélien BlancRestaurant Manager

What a big surprise to find such a fine cuisine and highly polished service. We are truly impressed. This is a historic building, close to 500 years old - but kept in pristine condition. The restaurant has a homely feelling to it and appears very inviting. The food was superb and very tasty - even the bread was superb. Most impressive was the service by two gentlemen who are highly professional, accomodating and charming.A place which needs to be recommended no doubt. The only negative side - mineral water. What a shame that home made water with gaz is served which I could not drink. No Valser, San Pellegrino etc available. This (nearly) spoiled our dinner. We can only hope that management will change this practice soonest. The restaurant lost one point because of - no mineral water!

Treated unexpectedly to a dinner at this venue I didn't know even existed near my home, I was amazed to realise how close this great Zurich dining experience is to my town as indeed it is to the city!. It would be under 20 > 25 minutes (depending on traffic) from Zurich so no problem getting there, perched near the ridge top as it is , awaiting your pleasure. At this time of the year outdoors is a hugely attractive draw--either taking advantage of their giant Linden tree's afternoon shelter or under their elegant giant umbrellas..& further, the tables as are generously spaced to minimise the treachery of outdoor smokers. Inside is an unremarkable but entirely comfortable dining room....whose greatest claim to fame is of course more of that stunning view of Lake Zurich!I ordered a Swiss filet beefsteak which was perfectly cooked to order with a an excellent Roesti as my choice of accompaniment. I took a advantage of a well -stocked salad bar nearby to get my greens. Sadly the Sauce Béarnaise was below par..mostly warmed cream do you mind, but it tasted 'ok' (they love cream here) . My hosts did as well with the (mostly) able kitchen delivering easily anticipated Swiss specialities for them too. The noodles with chanterelles was looking more like cream noodle soup! But I liked the helpful advice that resulted in a fair-priced Spanish red being chosen, as I did the effort always to please & noted that the few dips in culinary excellence were balanced by this friendly professionalism. In all, thoroughly recommended.

The restaurant in a quiet location with sun terrace and view of the Lake of Zurich
Breathtaking lake views from the dining area in a quiet, relaxed and grown-up atmosphere. Friendly service. Prices reflect the quality location but not the food which was slightly disappointing and rather average for the price paid. Great place to have a coffee / drink and to take in the view.Dear Oliver FThank you for taking the time to share your feedback and thank you for your positive review. It is a pity, we could not quite meet your food expectations in our restaurant. Nevertheless, we hope to see you soon back at the Hotel Belvoir.Best regards from RüschlikonDaniel KostHotel Manager

On the 28th of December we attended a private wedding banquet at this restaurant. Being gourmet lovers i must say that the food was exceptional and the service totally friendly and professional. We would recommend it to all gourmet food lovers. The prices are not overrated for the food that you get to enjoy. Good wine choices as well.
