Really nice place ! We had a good time there. The sweet and sour curry and the chicken noodle soop were great and the prices are convenient. We advise this place don't hesitate to go and sit the Menu carte offers you plenty of typical dishes.

Visited for dinner and found the place packed, the seemingly owner greeted nicely and asked to wait, I checked after 10 mins or so and found a table to sit. First sign of poor customer service. I found all items a bit expensive and therefore kept a bit high expectations for quality and service. Appetizer arrived in decent time and tasted subpar, main course was delicious but undersized. Wine was average and service was rather poor. Overall a nice place to eat Indian if youâre out of options.Dear Sir,Thank you for taking your Precious time to review us.We are very sorry that we cannot fulfilled your expectations.As you said that the restaurant was full on your arrival, So in this situation we cannot accommodate any guest immediately so thatâs the reason why we asked you to wait for 10 minutes so that we can arrange a table for you which is normal in Switzerland.Our prices in compare to the other restaurant in Zurich is completely normal.Best Regards Tadka Team

We came for dinner to this wonderful Viatnamese/Asian restaurant. All service personnel was extremely friendly, attentive and very helpful. Food came quickly (we did not go for the large buffet) and tasted excellent. On top the Thach looks so much better from the inside than the outside. Is this a helpful review? We went twice to this Chinese restaurant. Restaurant is conveniently located close to HB but the area is not the best and the room is average. Food is really good especially for Zurich where the taste is too adapted to European people. Roasted duck was really good except that the orange sauce was too artificial. Except than that all good: large plates, tasty stuff and very reasonable prices (for Zurich).

We love Indian food and have a hard time finding good restaurants in Switzerland. Tamarind Hill was delicious and the service was impressive. Plus our clothes did not smell like Indian food. A bit pricey, to be excepted in Zurich, but not too expensive. A great evening meal.

Walking in, you are welcomed very warmly. We have eaten here several times and the food is amazing. Succulent, tasty flavours; genuine Indonesian food. You don't need to be vegan to eat here. It's just delicious. Every dish is prepared carefully and the presentation is beautiful. We started with soup; superb. Then we had the crispy seitan - yummy. And the Ayam. The restaurant is located in the suburb city of Zurich called Regensdorf-Watt. Approximately a 15 minute S-bahn (S6) ride from Zurich HB, then just a 3 minute walk from the Regensdorf-Watt S-bahn station. I visited Thai Playa on a rainy day, so the large outdoor seating area was not being used. The interior was very nice (white tablecloths) and the bathroom was very clean, though the soap dispenser was broken or empty.The all you can eat buffet is priced at CHF 19.50 and consisted of 1 chicken dish, 1 prawn dish, a veggie/stir fry dish, 1 soup, 1 deep fried item and 2 rice dishes (steamed & fried). I thought the taste of the food was average or mediocre. A stange (bier) was only CHF 4.20. Though it was the lunch rush (not terribly busy), I observed that the food buffet items were on the slower side to be refilled as many customers had to wait for the staff to replenish the dishes as the serving trays on the buffet line seemed small. I thought many of the customers would have eaten more (as I saw them often, turn around in their seats to see if the buffet had been replenished) but due to the slow replenishment of items and the customers limited work time lunch break, in my opinion a few people left there hungry. Customers were given a final fruit sample after the meal though I was not offered one. Would I return again? I do not think the venture to the suburbs for this buffet is worth another trip. (My comments are for the buffet only and do not represent the regular entrees of the standard menu).

Excellent chefs from different Asian regions make for great, authentic tasting food. Very good are in particular the Indian and Thai dishes. Atmosphere a bit low because of the restaurant being situated in a community centre.

We went to have dinner there based on the review and good rating on TripAdvisor. Foods were okay...but the waitress were âtooâ friendly even told off my friend that she took too many foods? Itâs buffet dinner and people can take as many as they want as long as they can finish their foods! Feel uneasy at dinner as we were being watched everytime we took the foods from buffet table. Will not come back...Thank you for your review. Your feedback is important to us as we always try to improve the quality of our food and service. At our buffet you can eat as mach as you want as long as there is no waste. We are sorry to hear that you were feeling uncomfortable with our waitress.
