Seriously now, giving this place (only) a 13/20 rating is in no way justified. The setting, the welcome, the service and, above all, the cooking are way above the Gault & Milleau evaluation. The latter especially in relation to the Os à Moëlle, Potté dâescargots, Lapin Tessinoise and the Crème brûlée. There simply is no better. The refined preparation, presentation and exceptional taste are an easy match to what Gault & Milleau rates with near perfect scores elsewhere. Bravo Claudia, Christian and staff. Luckily, you donât need a gourmet guide to promote your restaurant. What really matters is the opinion of customers. And on my evaluation scale you have reached the top. Well done. Keep up the excellent work.

What a fabulous restaurant. The ambience is calmness personified and the food is about flavour and quality without an unnecessary level of ingredients or fussiness. We had their lunch menus which was about £65 for three courses or £80 for four courses. After the superb amuse bouche we were treated to a wonderful yellow fin tuna starter and then the absolute star of the show,,,,cavatelli and sea food that had superb flavour and texture.... a dream dish. And so we went on to a wonderful cod dish and then there was even home made meaux cheese. The wine list was excellent, particularly for the wonderful Swiss whites and service was friendly and highly professional. We left highly contented and well fed but not at all bloated......always the give away sign of well cooked and well balanced food. Without doubt one is in wonderful hands at the cesery and it was a great privilege to have eaten there.

It was a cool summer evening, we decided to eat inside instead of on the cobbled street just outside the hotel. Decided against the fondue, which some others seemed to be enjoying. Salad with mountain cheese and escargots for starters, brilliant. The cheese is special. Mains of steak and fish, both done perfectly. Lastly dessert to share, of summer berries with cream, rounded the meal off very nicely. Have no hesitation is recommending this restaurant and would definitely return on our next stay in Gstaad.

We chose this hotel because it accommodated 4 people. The staff was so friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The room was small (like most Swiss rooms) but we never felt cramped. The decor was new with a lot of thought put into each themed rooms. The restaurant was very nice. The salads melee was beautiful and and merengue with double cream was to die for. (We skipped dinner to save room of dessert). Breakfast was a typical Swiss breakfast with yogurt, fruit, and the bread was increadibly fresh. It was a little expensive at 12 CHF but the whole region is overpriced. They only charge us half price for the children. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Gruyere or Chateau d'Oex. It is close to both.

Pricey, but worth every centime. The meat is out of this world, and the views are divine. Good service and dog friendly.

What a find in Saanen! Hidden away, this gorgeous restaurant is worth seeking out. Book early as I think itâs a well-guarded secret of the locals! For good reason! On a lovely, warm Summer evening we sat outside on the veranda, surrounded by beautiful flowers and candles. The menu was unique, presented in a bound book, each day showing a new menu sourcing the freshest ingredients. Each meal we had was beautifully presented and faultless. Our table chose a range of salads and the mussels for entree and for the mains the trout was delicious and the beef cheeks divine. The wine list was extensive and we enjoyed some beautiful Swiss wines. Totally recommend this place! It was the best meal of our week in Saanen/Gstaad. DEAR GUEST, What a wonderful comment you have posted! We are truly blessed and would like to express our sincere thaks. It is always great if our guests can feel the vibe, the passion and that everything we do and deliver is made with love. The garden is just stunning at the moment you are travelling at the most wonderful season of the year with all the roses and blossoms accompagnied by this lovely smell all over.We hope welcoming you back soon for another tasty meal with beautiful Swiss wines. All the best and see you soon!

In the midst of our 3-week hiking holiday based in Chateu d'Oex we literally stumbled upon this tiny Michelin restaurant, looking for a cup of coffee in Rossiniere. We booked a table for two nights later (you must book in advance because the restaurant is so small) and had a truly memorable meal. Not only.is the food everything you might expect from a Michelin restaurant, and more, but the atmosphere is lovely and the service extremely pleasant. Add to this a very congenial chef and visual presentation that is exquisite - there is not other word. It costs - but is more than worth it.Thank you for your nice and frendly comment ! We are very happy that you've enjoy your meal in our little restaurant. We hope you've also enjoy your stay in the "Pays-d'Enhaut".Best regardsPatrick and Barbara
