We were recommended to this new Turkish restaurant by the owner of a nearby café which was full. We received very good attention and assistance with choosing from the menu. The food arrived quickly and was delicious. The staff were great and the decor is rather nice. It was excellent value for money - quite inexpensive- and a good experience.

I had lunch here on my visit to the city. Though the place is located in the âOld Townâ it was reasonably quiet here for lunch. Upon entering, I was greeted by a gentleman and I was given the option to sit anywhere. The atmosphere was nice with black and white photos on the wall, dark wood interior with booths and tables both with red padded seats. Some tables had decorations of small poinsettias, mandarines, nuts and chocolates. Soothing music was playing in the background. The menu consisted of pizza, borek, pasta, salad, noodles, appetizers and oven backed specialties (which requires 25-30 minutes cook time), beer and wine. I tried for the first time the Börek,a fried or baked filled pastry. The Börek special consisted of minced meat, spinach, spicy cheese and gouda for â¬10.90. Served on the side was a hot pepper along with your own curved knife. I really enjoyed my first Börek and I would certainly order this again. The bathrooms were very dated, but that may have more to do with the old historic building itself. In recap, my visit was very good with friendly service and good food. I would certainly visit again and recommend to others.

Ali Baba is a small shop with about seven tables and they offer Doner, pizza, pide, salads and beverages among other items. The staff person was friendly as I placed my lunch order for a Doner (5â¬). The staffer prepared fresh bread and asked if I wanted everything on the Doner. I informed him I did not want onions and that I wanted cocktail sauce, not the garlic sauce. I excused myself to use their facilities and returned and my Doner was on my table. First thing I noticed was that there were onions on the Doner. I started to just pick then off and then the staff person stated he forgot not to place onions on the Doner. As I took my second bite into the doner I then realized not only had he put onions on the doner, but he also put on the garlic sauce. I took the rest of the Doner to the counter to pay and leave. He asked me if I did not like the Doner and I stated I did not. A couple of items of note: I did not like the quality/taste of the Doner (even with the onions & garlic sauce), secondly he did not charge me for the Doner, which was the main reason I gave this business 2* instead of a terrible rating. I was very disappointed that this staffer, to be sitting in a chair at the back of the restaurant and waiting for one of the first lunch customers of the day that he seemed so distracted or there was a lack of interest in getting my order correct.

This is probably one of the worst food i ever had in my life.Just cause the prices are "cheap" compared to other restaurants in thisover prized city called Konstanz, it doesn't mean you can serve low quality meals like that.1. Cigar Boerek (however you call it) extremely average with the lowest quality of cheese u can find.2.Grilled veggies overpriced and the yoghurt sauce from the can to the plate without any spices.and another dish which was offered on the menu as something like meat n cheesebut it took me half an hour to find the meat inside. Most ridiculous place i have ever been.At least the young waiter been friendly.Even he been quite surprised after listening to my opinion about their food.In any other part of the world this restaurant wouldnt survive for even a month.

Very fatty and not delicious food. If you are just looking for a huge meal and do not care about the taste, this is the place to be - otherwise, don't go there.

We were wandering in Konstanz and felt somewhat peckish. So we popped in for a snack, but had no reservation. The restaurant was full but they managed to seat us.The kitchen was fast, and the food quality was really good. And the bill: a pizza, a macaroni dish, two large beers and two ouzos: 20 euros!
