This place is a gem in Rüti, the food was outstanding good, the furniture and atmosphere is cozy, as I live near, I ll be here often, no doubt.I have been here with my family and parents for lunch, the menu is not the longest but the food was really amazing, wine and coffee the same.Would I ever expect to receive such great italian food in Rüti? not really, but we did, lovin it, this place could easily be in the city center of Zürich or any italian cities and would have major success, guaranteed.Wish you great success and looking forward to eating here soon!

Was in here last Weekend for the first time. Actually we have a good coffee - nice size for a large one and homemade cake. They have a good selection of different Croissants, happy to try that next time. Surprisingly busy for an early morning on the Weekend. I'll be back

This is part of a small chain; the other locations are in the mountains of Eastern Switzerland in Davos and Klosters. Babu's in Zurich is a relation too.It is really well done, lots of room inside, light decor and a good bit of outdoor seating. Only issue was there were more place outside than there were chairs.Location wise, this is slightly up from the waterfront in a big square with a view of the church. Easy to sit out, enjoy the sun and people watch. Easy to park bikes nearby.Great menu; lots of variations on Cesar's salad and lots of burgers. Many cakes. All round just a huge amount on offer.Good for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee. But and that is the only but, closed at 18:00, so no dinner

I had a carrot cream soup and a warm chicken salad, both very delicious. The prices were OK (CHF 9.7 for soup and 17.5 for the salad) and the service was really good.

this is a traditional bakery that also offers breakfast and lunch.whereas as a bakery, it is a highly advisable palce, as restaurant it's just average.for breakfast (they do not offer anyting different than what other backerei cafeteria serve you in rapperswil) steiner is in line with swiss preferences: pastries, good coffee and juices, but don't ask for fried or scrambled eggs (and this is one the things you'll miss in rapperswil and won't find here).as a lunch restaurant, they offer standard menu of the day and other easy-making dishes. service is polite and prices are average.

Have been there several times for drinks and also for work. They have a quiet area in the café very suitable for working. Power outlets are optimisable but I found one by disconnecting a lamp. Friendly service. They have all kinds of old tables, chairs, lamps and stuff in use in the café and if you like anything, you can buy it.

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon in Switzerland with the family. In addition to the large indoor cafeteria style restaurant and gift shop, there are numerous activities to keep the children amused. In the center of the grove are various picnic style wooden tables with umbrellas. People can enjoy their meal , and the children then run and play. There are large ,square, hay stacks, molded together into a climbing activity; a petting farm with goats of all sizes; an enclosed rabbit hotel style viewing station , where my girls thought the rabbits had bunk beds; a huge wooden and rope ladder spanning several blocks of space; and a sand pit complete with water, mud, toys and fun, fun, fun!Available also was a PICK YOUR OWN BLUEBERRIES option but sadly, we did not have the time. We did however have a delightful lunch , composed of a vegetable topped freshly made pizza, delicious chocolate ice cream, and a large smiling jelly and dough cookie. On our way out, we purchased fresh blackberries and strawberries, and a lovely bottle of pumpkin salad oil. Yummy!Thank you very much for this positive feedback. We are glad that you enjoyed your stay at our farm and hope to see you again soon.
