We later discovered the restaurant was attached to the hotel where we staying (Ambassador), so easy walk home. Great salad bar to start. Bread and whipped butter. Cold beer and wine. I had the veal Cordon Bleu, my wife had the perch fritters. Both very nice. No room for dessert. Hello from LucerneThanks for the five Stars and full Points. We travel to or through Lucerne every couple of years, and the Belvedere has become one of our consistent âfoodieâ stops there since 2013.First appearances here are misleading. The restaurant is located on the ground-floor of an otherwise rather drab-looking apartment building. One could just as easily miss the Belvedere by driving by countless times and never noticing it.But, once inside, one is greeted by floor-to-ceiling windows running the full-length of the dining area providing a full and beautiful view of the lake and mountain scenery. A way to improve that even further is to dine on their large, comfortable terrace, weather-permitting, and to take it all in âal frescoâ. So far we have been lucky on every visit to do just that.Every meal we have had here has been a true delight, from the amuse bouche, to the starters, mains, desserts and drink pairings. That consistency in skill, quality and service has cemented the Belvedereâs standing as a very solid 1-star Michelin establishment for years. Cost- / benefit is also in good balance here. All that is rounded-off by the Belvedereâs relaxed vibe, and they have always made us feel very welcome and well taken care of.We hope and wish that the team there maintain those high standard for many more years to comeâ¦because we would sure miss this restaurant.

Our 18 year old came up with this recommendation just based on its location (not far from station) and menu online. It far exceeded expectations. An intelligent and delectable menu. Great quality food with some fabulous presentation. Cosy decor. Seemed a great favourite with locals too.Thank you so much!!!
