We visited this restaurant at lunchtime with Swiss friends from Zurich and chose the menu du jour. The quality and quantity of the food (3 courses) was excellent and the service was very good as well. We were offered the choice of the dessert from another menu and this turned out to be something really special ! On top of all that the bill was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Had a really lovely dinner here whilst staying in Bulle. The woman who serviced us was fantastic. Her English was limited and our French very basic but we all muddled through with quite a few laughs and she was really lovely. Food was delicious. Warm, filling soup went down a treat on the cold, rainy evening and it was well priced for what we got. Would highly recommend a visit here if in Bulle.

Restaurant is nicely in the city center and they still had space when we arrived late on Saturday night. We ate a fondue Moité-Moité which was very good (thought portion could have been bigger - or maybe it was just too good).Prices have been reasonable and service was good and friendly.

Two other restaurants, more highly rated, where I wanted to have lunch, were closed. It was a Tuesday. So, I luckily fell on this place and ate in the cafe part. I was met with a genuine smile and was amazed as all 4 service "ladies" were, it seemed, constantly smiling at the customers. But I was not there for the smiles, but for a good lunch. I was positively surprised. The smiles were a bonus.I took the daily menu, of which there were two choices. One fish menu, which was a Queue de Cabillaud curry/cacahuete at CHF 20.50, and a meat menu, which was a Roti de Veau aux bolets CHF 19.50. Both were preceded by either a salad or soup. I choose the soup and the Veal. The mixed vegetable soup was of the "thick" variety (not some "dish-water" kind) and very tasty. The Veal was a substantial portion and cooked just right. It was served with noodles and a mix of fresh vegetables. It was lacking a bit of salt, but better this way than too salty!I had two "deci" of red wine with the meal and a coffee after and when the bill came it was my turn to smile...CHF 31.30!It was a very pleasant experience!!
