Went with a large bunch of friends The owners and staff did everything possible to accommodate our group. Best part going in large numbers is sampling many items on the menu - EVERYTHING was delicious. Know for the pork knuckle (amazing), I had the noodle shrimp salad and had bites of numerous delicious entrees. Only regret is not going more than once. Owners Sandy and Shep are the best! The group shot is how we felt after the meal.

It's the restaurant at the station "Kleine Scheidegg", en route to Jungfraujoch. In good wheater conditions we open our beautiful outside area with a unique view to Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau.
This is not a place for skiers to meet, get a snack or get a drink, if you want any of these things and are not in the first flush of youth the place for you is the tent bar on the Jungfrau side of the complex. However we were extremely disappointed this year to find this bar more frequently closed rather than open. If it was closed we were directed to the Tipee tent bar but quite frankly this is not a bar for the slightly older generation - its music is too loud and heavy rock and there are no bar stools to enable you to sit at the bar or a table. Even so on occasions this year we found both bars to be closed meaning you could only get a drink in the restaurant. Adverse weather was often given as the reason for the bars to be closed but in all honesty this was just as excuse because the weather was not severe and we have known the bars in the past to be open during much worse weather conditions. We understand the bars and restaurant are under new management and we are afraid that in our view they have got it wrong. We have been visiting these bars for the last 15 years or so and the tent bar (previously run by Gisella) was a great place to meet up with people especially those based in different sides of the mountain. It was always vibrant and fairly busy even on days when there were not many people on the mountain. Not so now! We gave up trying to get a drink and snack at Kleine Scheidegg and spent our money elsewhere on the mountain as did many of our friends. Such a shame the tent bar was an institution and a drink there was something to look forward to - not any more, it is so sad. Thanks for your feedback so we can learn to improve. Of course, it is not our idea to close the bars too often or too early. Even if the weather can actually change within minutes. Based on your feedback, we have made it clearer internally which bar is open. We also checked the music in both bars critically. Yes, we often find the music too one-sided and too loud. New are music style and volume (max 80 dB) regulated. If you are back with us, please contact us. As a reward and reparation, we serve you a refreshing beer for free - in one of our bars with a pleasant atmosphere!

You already list this as a hotel. I didn't stay at the hotel so can't rate it but want to provide this information: I wandered into Gimmelwald down the path from Murren and met the owner, David, hiking up the path. He is an attractive Brit and very knowle
We thoroughly loved our stay here, we spent two nights and had dinner each night. Food and accommodations are wonderful, and the staff is the family that lives on premises. Rooms and showers are a bit small, but perfectly acceptable given the location. The view from the terrace is priceless, having dinner outside with the views was a memory that will never be forgotten. Step back in time and join this Swiss family for a day or two and you will always remember it.
The food servings are very generous. The Swiss dishes are delicious and their salads are outstanding!!! Very festive & cozy little restaurant. Decor is cheery & warm & inviting. Indoor & outdoor options (year round, I think), as well as an area that is sort of between inside & outside.

Excellent for a beer or a glass of wine after a day skiing. Happy, friendly atmosphere. Dinner also served, though we were half-board in our hotel, so we did not dine out.

Bar food
Went here as it is supposed to be the number 1 bar in Wengen. Not sure why really. 4 or 5 lagers on tap, expensive cocktails, slow service, only 1 person serving. No atmosphere, there are better places to get an apres ski drink.

Sina's Pub is beautiful and in a prime location in Wengen, less than a five-minute walk from the train station and just around the corner from the Tourist Information Office. The menu is reasonably-priced (relative to Swiss prices, which are generally pretty expensive) and a pizza works out at between 19-25 CHF (£15-20).The pizzas are actually extremely tasty, but the restaurant also offers a lot of other traditional Swiss menu options.Staff are friendly too.

Stopped off here recently on a trip to Lauterbrunnen. After walking for some time and watching the base jumping we decided to call in for a beer. The barman was really friendly and the bar was clean and welcoming. Highly recommended if you're in the area.
