Visiting the Restaurant Landhof several times has been an excellent experience. A cosy place where you feel at home. A precious small restaurant with a changing art exhibition. Food is of excellent quality, with bio and demeter label. The presentation of the food is what one would expect in a gourmet restaurant, made with love and passion. And important to know, it is all prepared and served by trainees. It is the objective of the restaurant to provide an education for young people who have difficultiesto find a place to work or learn a profession. In the Restaurant Landhof they get a chance to develop their skills to a very high level and serve food of excellent quality as a highlight for the guests.

Having been there for the first time for a Business lunch, I was impressed with the interesting creativity of the Chef and the high Quality of Food. The Ravioli with Salmon were a delight. The Service Crew is very friendly and knowledgable. Bubendorf may not be at the centre of the Basel Region, but it is definitely worthwile going there to have lunch or dinner.

When we booked we had no idea it was a surprise menu, so I was nonplussed when I asked see the menu. But do not fear! We were given the choice of fish, meat or vegetarian for starters and mains. Our fish starter - a carpaccio of sorts - was delicious and our main of lamb was also scrumptious. We finished with a very fine cheeseboard. We opted for accompanying wine, thinking we would get a glass per course, but were thrilled that the wine was be free-flowing, and also good quality, not all from Italy either. We had excellent service, attentive, knowledgeable and friendly (don't know why another reviewer groused about that - sometimes its down to personalities!) As a new resident to Basel, this restaurant is find. And we will be back!

We were there last night with quite a large party (about twenty people) so we were in one of the separate rooms. The building is really old, but totally renoved in a really tasteful way, with whitewashed walls and ceilings and beams in light-colored wood give it a very cheerful atmopshere. The wait staff were extremely friendly, asking if things were alright and if we liked the food. The portions were really decent and the steaks were prefectly done. One of the sides, a vegetables, was a bit indefinably - my husband later commented on the cauliflower, so I guess that's what it was ... and lots of people never ate their friend potatoes, whereas I sure did like those. all in all, it was good, decent foodm, and a plenty, and the fruit salad with ice cream for dessert was delicious - all the fruit truly fresh. If you're lucky you can snag a parking space right otuside in the samlle lane on which the main entrance is, or there's a larger parking lot on the back side of the building; parking free there after 7 p.m.

Exclusively à la carte dishes are served in an elegant atmosphere. An extensive wine list is available for the guest's appreciation.
We have eaten at Bad Bubendorf twice now and found the restaurant to be very appealing to the eye but disappointing to the palette. Based on Kantonsstrasse it has a prime position and attracts a large number of diners. The restaurant itself is very attractive, a pleasing contrast of old and new, blended together in the summer with ample outside seating in a lush green setting and a wintergarten that is very light and airy for the cooler seasons. We have visited the restaurant on two occasions and whilst service has been great, the overall impression was that the food was disappointing. Our impression is that some of the plates have two many flavour combinations making the dishes somewhat confused and on the last occasion when I chose Lamb Backli from the regular menu, the meat was served with no colour which made it resemble Veal and the quality of the meat was extremely poor.No doubt we will try a third visit at sometime in the future but we have eaten better quality at lower prices elsewhere. I get the impression that this restaurant trades on its location.

Melanie and Denis Schmidt, as Swiss/Alsatian, couple opened this restaurant four months ago. They have things very well honed, and leMurenberg is definitely worth visiting. The food was outstanding on the slow August evening we visited, the service friendly and the wines personal, coming in some cases (Riesling and Muscat) from M Schmidt's cousin's vineyard. The two of us had the three-course menu surprise, consisting of an excellent fish carpaccio first course and a main course tailored to our individual desires (fish/meat) and an imaginative fruit dominated mille feulle dessert. It is unusual to get bavette (skirt) in Switzerland, and this would make any French chef proud, as would the amuse bouche, which so often just a formality. Ullli10âs Tripadvisorâs review of 28 May is spot on. The total bill of CHF 200 meant that the quality/cost ratio was good. This couple deserves to succeed.

The "Baselbuieter Stübli" since 1926 was in the restaurant "Escale", in the head construction of the exibition building Basel. Traditional assembled there at the âThe Baselbieter Dayâ of the "Muba" the political top brass of the land canton and some journ
I booked a table here thanks to an advice and got rewarded with a very good dinner: relaxed atmosphere, delicious food, friendly service. The restaurant comprises of two rooms: the bright âTaverneâ and the wooden âStübliâ. I sat in the latter - a cozy and beautiful dining room. Congrats to the waiter - Mr Hartmann - for his welcoming, smiling and efficient service during the entire dinner. The menu puts focus on popular and traditional Swiss specialties. As I visited during game season, the menu also included venison dishes. As starter I chose the fagottini with truffles and truffle oil - delicate and delicious. As main course I had the deer schnitzel served with all the trimmings. Tasty and very generous portion. Unreasonably I indulged myself with a homemade Nougat-Parfait as dessert. Very good, indeed. On the downside prices are on the higher side, reflecting the proximity to Basel. The bill amounted to CHF84 - admittedly not to everyoneâs budget, but the great food and even greater service are well worth it.

'VISIONI ED ESPERIENZE' The restaurant Osteria TRE is on a successful path. The GaultMillau judged the innovative gourmet experience of the Executive Chef Flavio Fermi with 16 points. GaultMillau Guide Switzerland comments the top ranking as follows: 'Fla
Worth its Michelin *, very refined dining, maybe my favourite in Basel Landschaft. Went back for another visit and must say I was impressed again by the refinement and understated elegance of Osteria Tre. The team is relaxed but very attentive, the food is exquisite and ultra refined without being complicated and fussy but all round extremely tasty and well prepared. This is a place where you can be yourself and feel relaxed whilst enjoying the finest things one can offer its palette. Price / quality is justified (be prepared to spend ± 225 CHF for a memorable and exceptional experience). Bravo team Osteria Tre on your continued commitment to quality and refinement. We shall return.
