We are repeat guest at the Osteria which serves the best Food in town. Consistent high quality - and in combination with the Gelatteria below an unbeatable offering when it comes to desserts. Typically, a salad easily feeds two. Their home-made pasta are world class and if you order their vino di casa you get a very decent wine at a very reasonable price. At times, service can be sluggish. And do not forget to book in advance, particularly on weekends.

This small restaurant is quite nice. Had had several lunches there and the food has always been very good. The service is good and friendly but basically no English. Will continue to visit while working in Germany.

Really fantastic place! Old style but in the same time elegant. Owner & service very good, quick and cordial. Food and pizza both very good. Don't forget dessert Millefoglie Alla fragola or tiramisu really good! Congrats to the restaurant team! Samuel

A place that names itself "El Toro" and calls itself a steakhouse should be a no brainer for guests, right? Good fresh steaks, great taste, decently priced, right? Wrong.Perhaps they were having a bad day or the normal chef was sick and the owner wasnt around that day - in any case I ordered my meal - Schnitzel überbacken mit Serrano Schinken, Käse - and was not impressed by what was served. An obviously supermarket bought schnitzel-steak, with equally supermarket quality "Serrano ham" and some non-descript,tasteless, melted cheese draping it. I would have been embarassed serving this portion size - it was small - kids sized - with an equally small portion of oven baked potatos. "Steakhouse" I think not - more freeway rest-stop quality..Why so shocked? Well, in Germany, in this region, I have had so many wonderfully surprising eating experiences from lesser establishments. Hence, actively choosing a steakhouse and getting something obviously so inferior was an immense let down. Come on! this is Germany, schnitzel is a no brainer in Germany! How can you get this so wrong? And there endeth the lesson. I wish I could say something positive but I cant. Perhaps I should give it a 2nd chance and order something off the Argentinian grill, but sadly I dont want to risk it. Once bitten, twice shy.

Back to that place after a few months and I'm positively surprised that my previous review is still actual! We have tested this time the Rumpsteack and the beef filet. Both were excellent and well presented!Service is fast and efficient.

The Neapolitan style pizza in this restaurant is really good. I had a Margherita and the mozzarella was real (not just a "pizza cheese"), the tomato sauce really tasty and on top some generous amount of fresh and perfumed basil leaves! The other pizzas also looked very good.We had also tortellini panna e prosciutto for one of my daughter and chicken nuggets for the other daughter, then two bottles of water, two beers, 1 tiramisu, 1 lemon sorbettp, two ice creams for the kids and two espressi. Total bill: 71 EUR. Not bad, isn't it?A speciality: at the end of the meal, they bring you a small bottle with home made limoncello for free. It is enough for some 4 small liqueur glasses!
