First thing, the service was very welcoming and we were well looked after. Being Swiss cuisine, meat dominates. We ordered fillet steaks. The meat was only okay, definitely nothing special about it. But what I really didn't like was the seasoning. It wasn't just pepper and some salt, but some concoction with a variety of (synthetic?) flavourings that left a strange taste in the mouth. The meat, for what it was worth, wasn't given a chance as a result, and for 44CHF the main ingredient should be right and shouldn't need to be dressed in such an artificial way. I know that this type of seasoning is popular with some locals, but perhaps it's because I didn't grow up with it (like, say, marmite-type products?) it's kind of hard to get used to. The restaurant no doubt appeals to those with very traditional tastes. Not my cup of tea (or should I say, 'fillet of steak'!) though.HelloWe regret your experience. We would like to inform you that since April 1, 2018, there is a new owner with a brasserie concept. We would like to convince you and looking forward to see you soon.Kind regardsStefano & Team
Where to eat Barbecue food in Baden: The Best Restaurants and Bars

I'm travelling quite a lot to Baden, since i'm an employee of one of the major company based here. I had a good lunch break. Food selection is huge, quality is above average for this type of restaurant, terrace is an added value. Prices are good, or cheap if compared with Swiss food cost. To be suggested.
