An incredible restaurant with tradition.Great food and service. Very friendly and rustic.Order a pint of Weiss beer means âmachine weizeâ. The âOlma bratwurstâ and the âPastetliâ are amazing! Highly recommended to hand around for a beer and some traditional Swiss food!Price wise for 2 pax; few beers and a proper main course will cost around SFR60-70.-

After many trips to Switzerland I have come to trust the Swiss ââGilde Gourmetââ guide when looking for traditional restaurants with nice food and pleasant atmosphere. Gasthof Kreuz is undoubtedly one of them; the large terrace boasts a cozy and relaxed feeling, in which you can enjoy your meal. Table booking strongly recommended - almost all outside tables were taken, which is usually a good omen. Genuine Swiss hospitality, Mrs Weber and her whole team are very welcoming. Special thumbs-up to Soraya for her attentive and friendly service throughout the dinner. The menu puts focus on Swiss traditional dishes and includes daily suggestions. As starter I had the Vitello Tonnato - perfect for a summer evening. It tasted pretty good; but costing 19CHF, I would have expected a much more generous portion!As main course I chose the catch of the day: fish was fresh and perfectly cooked, delicious portion. As sweet I indulged myself with a classic refreshing Coupe Romanoff - fresh strawberries with vanilla ice cream. On the downside Switzerland has always had a high price structure, even in the countryside, and Kreuz is no exception. We've been here once a year for the last nine years with a group of 20 people! The food and drinks including wine are great and the prices fair! We enjoyed the very nice atmosphere and great service and will come back for sure! Try the Saltim Bocca and the Crème Brulée;-) Go there and enjoy!!!

Tasty, carefully cooked, artfully presented, fusion food served by competent, obliging staff in this welcoming, stylish restaurant a short walk across the Aar river from the Olten railway station. The delicious food is well worth the extra cost. Leave room for dessert. The main challenge is deciding what to order from the interesting menu.Our lunch here was certainly one of my best dining experiences in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

Suchst Du eine Landbeiz mit gepflegter, ehrlicher Küche? Dann bist Du hier genau richtig. Schöne Gartenbeiz unter riesiger, alter Kastanie. Cordon-bleu sehr zu empfehlen. Im Herbst absoluter Geheimtipp für Wildliebhaber. Wild vom lokalen Wald, selbstgemachter Pfeffer und Chnöpfli etc. Immer frisch, saisonal und gutbürgerlich. Preis - Leistung unschlagbar. Wenn Du auf Nummer sicher gehen willst, umbedingt Tisch reservieren. Arnos Burger (hausgemacht) sind auch sehr zu empfehlen.

It's a bit of a walk from the main area of town, but well worth the effort. Very family friendly, very comfy, well-lit, good prices, extremely friendly staff, and open atmosphere. I had dinner here one evening. I had an amazing cordon bleu, it was my first Swiss cordon bleu ever and it was amazing. I then had a frappé which tasted somewhat artificial but was fresh and sweet. The staff was friendly as well. Good experience overall.

Wir haben bei einem Familientreffen im Hotel-Restaurant Linde gegessen. Wir wurden sehr nett empfangen, man hatte für uns in der Gaststube und auf der grossen gedeckten Terrasse gedeckt. Wir wählten die Terrasse. Im Schatten bei einem lauen Lüftchen liess es sich gut verweilen. Die Chefin und die Bedienung waren sehr aufmerksam und flink. Wir mussten nicht lange warten um zu bestellen,auch das Essen war schnell da. Immer wieder erkundigte sich, ob alles in Ordnung sei. Wirklich sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Die Speisekarte hat verschiedene gut bürgerliche Menüs. Auf Wunsch kann man auch kleinere Portionen haben. Der Salat war frisch mit einer leckeren Salatsauce. Wienerschnitzel, Cordon Bleu und Stroganoff schmeckten ausgezeichnet. Wer die gutbürgerliche Küchen und einen Topservice liebt liegt hier richtig.

Zofingen is a small town in Switzerland and I was there on business for a couple of days. Imagine my surprise when they were serving Omaha steak for dinner! I was so impressed I had to get back into the kitchen to see how they did it and Chef was very accommodating. The soup, the wine, the service was just fantastic. The restaurant is small enough to give you that sense of personal service that I truly treasure in a restaurant. My boss frequents this place so I trusted it would be good but it far exceeded my expectations. Thanks Chef!
