We stopped here for lunch and the food was so bad I actually felt mine was inedible so left most of it. We had a hot dog and the chicken burger. The bacon that came with both was slimy and had hard lumps of grissle in it. The chicken from the burger was unrecognisable as meat and was grey and a horrible texture. Plus we specially asked for the burger to come without cheese as I am lactose intolerant, however it came with cheese anyway and a brioche bun. So I had to wait for a replacement without any apology at all.

Cafe Riviera is located in the centre of town on one side of Plaza Cachupin and has both inside and pavement seating - we visited beginning of March and sat outside where thereâs also patio heaters to keep away any chill. Ordered at the counter and it was brought to our table - service was friendly and staff patient to understand our poor Spanish. Our lunchtime snack consisted of Croissants and what I think was a crab stick omelette plus hot drinks. Thereâs a lot of competition all around but we were more than happy with the efficient and friendly service we received here - even the locals were chatty!

Julia lleva muchos aÃ±os en Laredo y tiene muchos clientes que ya son amigos y le van siguiendo por donde pasa. HarÃ¡ unos dos aÃ±os que se puso aquÃ con una hermana y su hija. El local no es grande pero el ambiente es magnÃfico, y la situaciÃ³n tambiÃ©n, en la calle MenÃ©ndez Pelayo, al lado del antiguo Ayuntamiento y enfrente del Mercado. Es un buen bar de vinos y copas, que ademÃ¡s tiene una amplia variedad de platos combinados y comidas rÃ¡pidas. La mÃºsica es de calidad, y la simpatÃa de Julia pone lo demÃ¡s.Un imprescindible para tomarse una copa en Laredo.

Es una cafeterÃa tranquila que vende pan y tartas. El cafÃ© es bueno y el personal amable. Las tartas son muy llamativas pero no estÃ¡n tan buenas como aparentan. Tampoco tienen demasiada variedad, cuatro tipos.
