A great café/bar with a very friendly atmosphere. It has a wide selection of good quality homemade tapas or snacks. Also, their takeaway roast chicken is very tasty especially if you can't be bothered preparing Sunday lunch. Lots of wines and beers to choose from and for a long drink or copa I'd recommend Siderit Cantabrian gin with tonic prepared by Adrian.Thank you very much for your review, Louise and Dan, you know is a pleasure to serve you and to offer you our best. It is not a cheap restaurant, but you will find a good "castellana" food. In the past century, this city was the gate of the sea of castilla region, but when autonomy was adquired, this influence was almost cleaned up.It is strong food. I suggest to select it for lunch.The lamb is the star, and it is not for free.If you want to do a break among, hake, cod, shrims, octopus, clamps,....., do not hesitate to go.

Our yearly friend lunch took us to Santander this time,really nice atmosphere, and good quantity, the chef showed us the meat we were going to eat and prepare them with a hot stone underneath to ensure it keeps warm.I would clearly recommend it.
