We had a wonderful lunch at this tucked away gourmet burger restaurant in the hills above la orotava. It is certainly worth the trip as the selection is varied and unusual. Apart from the plain burger with wedges for my youngest, we had the oishii burger, which blended the succulent patty with American cheese, pickles and a mango ketchup and the other was a Thai inspired burger with wasabi cream cheese and vegetable tempura. All were served with crispy wedges and with drinks for all the bill only came to 22 euros.

My wife and I visited this small yet stylish restaurant in July of this year. I had read some reviews that billed it as Michelin star quality at affordable prices, and this was a great description of what we experienced. We were encouraged to go for the 6 course tasting menu which had a nice blend of meat and seafood. The food was fantastic in both concept and appearance but most importantly on taste. Every bite was utterly delicious from the selection of breads with innovative dip to the Mexican fish taco, beef carpaccio, followed to name a few by slow cooked ribs and a Delicious chocolate gnash for desert. I highly recommenced this restaurant, the service by Josef was friendly and informative also without fault. We look forward to out next visit.thank you!!! for having enjoyed with us !!! Firstly, the service here is wonderful, as it is across the whole hotel. We opted for the tasting menu and each dish was explained wonderfully. I'm gluten free and this was no bother for the staff at all, who made the few small necessary changes for me with no bother, and I heard other diners with dietary issues being catered for with ease as well. I appreciated the drinks recommendations, and I had barely thought 'I wish I had brought a cardigan" when I was offered a beautifully soft blanket!The food itself was gorgeous- standouts included a clam ceviche with flying fish roe and a melt in the mouth tuna sashimi. Everything is plated beautifully and delicious. At â¬55 a head for the tasting menu I felt it was very good value too, especially if you have the hotel resident discount. We discovered this restaurant by chance while walking around Orotava and it was a great surprise.We were impressed by the cozy, welcoming environment and pleasantly surprised by the very friendly service, always ready to answer questions and offer a nice experience. Additionally, the restaurant displays a very up-to-date decoration with personal touches that make you feel warm and comfortable, like at home. Dabeke would appeal to the so-called foodies and those searching for a reasonably priced yet real gastronomic experience. The quality of the food is also surprising, as it seems to have been very carefully and respectfully manipulated. I would totally recommend the âCevicheâ, which varies daily according to the fish market, the âCarrillera de cerdo ibericoâ (Iberian pork cheeks -served with green curry sauce)so soft it melts in your mouth, and their perfectly creamy âRisottoâ. Also, if you get the chance, you should take a look at their wine menu because itâs excellent value for money. I would totally recommend you to give it a try. You wonât be disappointed!!

This was by far the best restaurant we had visited on our holiday to Los Cristianos. The food was exceptional, the staff were extremely kind and explained how the menu worked. Will definitely be coming back! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!

At first glance at the location of this restaurant, we werenât too sure. Situated in a lowered complex next to an abandoned building, it didnât look like it would be the place the reviews said. We were very mistaken. This restaurant stands out from all of the others in the complex, looking modern, classy and inviting. Itâs the busiest place down there despite its size. The food was nothing short of incredible. It was well priced, fresh and cooked to perfection. My husband had the special: a fillet steak on his first visit and the seared tuna on the second. I went for the smaller plates which can be made into a large by adding two sides: falafel, coleslaw and Canarian potatoes serves with olive oil. All were beautiful. Thank you El Corazon for a wonderful meal on both occasions and superb customer service. Thank you so much for the incredibly kind words! We're sorry we didn't have any more of the fillet steak for your last meal, but we're so happy that you took a chance on venturing down to find us and that it was worth it! we made a trip from our place in the south to the north to eat here due the the high reviews and were really disappointed...We had the 'tasting menu' which was ok but nothing really rememberable, oh apart from my wife having not one but TWO huge, we're talking 30mm long & thick, fish bones in a piece of fish no bigger than 50mm square...waiter reponse was "oh really" yes, that's all he said.....Best part of the meal, the red wine and that sums it up, would I return, your joking.I suggest if you want a really decent meal, go south and try the michelin star restaurants....

A real gem owned by a wife and husband (chef) team along the sea. The small restaurant serves wonderfully prepared food that is sourced locally. The preparation and presentation is 5 star as are the owners.
