Down in the centre of the town there are a lot of Canarian restaurants with very similar menus but we found that at El Bajio the food was of good quality and value for money. On our two week break we ate here twice when we were looking for something simple for dinner after promanading around the town earlier.

We had lunch here. We ordered braised goat, sea bass and seafood spaghetti. Goat came first and was cold but they changed it quickly and replacement was hot. All the food was really nice but came at different times which spoilt the meal a bit. Service was friendly and attentive. Would have been 4 stars if dishes had been served together.

Visited with partner and mother whilst on holiday. Ordered the calzone which was cooked to perfection. Partner had the all day breakfast which he said was really tasty. The restaurant is located on the sea front so the prices are fantastic given the location. Service was a bit hit and miss with some staff been more attentive than others and it was because of this that they loose a point and only get 4 out 5

I went there with two friends and we had a wonderful meal on one of the terraces; we shared the most delicious mushrooms, croquets, langostino salad and more....all delicious! We indulged by trying all the desserts on the menu, including the spectacular "bomba"...fabulous! We paid 22⬠each including drinks (wine and beer). Excellent value for money. We will definitely return.

Another favourite place in Puerto. Great location right on the beach. Thankfully my wife loves seafood too and we shared exactly the same dishes as last Xmas holidays. Lapas (limpets) are really delicious and something different. Chopitos are baby squid fried and we add lots of lemon juice. Pulpo (octopus) is one of their best dishes and comes with papas arrugadas (wrinkly Canarian potatoes). With bread, 4 beers, 2 coffees and a desert it came to â¬45. Great value for money! Service is very friendly too.

The atmosphere here is amazing , the staff is friendly and the restaurant itself is very beautiful. Itâs in a old House which is very beautiful. We ordered one Seafood platter, one grilled fish platter and two ducks. The platters were delicious but enormous . We would recommend to have some help with them. Onto the Duck. Instead of the typical magre they serve half a duck which is very good but quite big as well. Itâs a great place that must be visited!
