We went there and were completely satisfied. My wife had avocado filled with shrimps, ananas as starter and fish in a fantastic sauce with canary potatos and as dessert a creme caramel. And i had fried cheese with marmelade as starter and first time in my life goat. The goat had a fantastic sauce and was really delicious. With the goat i ordered the canary potatos. As dessert i had the chocolate cake. I can fully recommend this restaurant. Friendly, authentic, no convenience food. The sauces were homemade and view was very nice as well. Go there to eat honest canary kitchen!! The prices are absolutely fair!

Fabulous recommendation from TripAdvisor! Hubby and I enjoyed hot bread rolls with delicious (generous) dips, black pudding, garlic mushrooms, House Salad, T-Bone steak, grilled chicken with fried onions, mouth-watering chilled beers (in iced pint glasses) and chilled white wine (in iced terra-cotta jug), leche-leche & an espresso - â¬59 Euros - FABULOUS (though we had no idea the portions were going to be so abundant and ordered much too much for 2 people!)! ..oh, and we got complimentary liquors to finish. Food, drink, service & ambience SUPERB. A definite âmust go toâ in Tenerife (â¬8 each way in a taxi from Playa Paraiso). Thank you La Ganania- what a wonderful experience.

Chamachete is one of the few restaurants in the south of Tenerife which have been over 30 years run by the same family. Chamachete offers a combination of typical Canarian dishes as well as premium steaks.
This is 100% my favourite restaurant of all time. I would literally get on a plane and travel to Tenerife to have a meal! We have been here twice now and it is just amazing all the staff are wonderful treat us like locals and made us feel welcome. We had three starters recommended by our waitress; goats cheese with blueberry Jam, selection of sausages and the house salad all which was superb! For our mains we got the famous OX steak which was huge, the tastiest steak I have ever eaten and super super value for money. We also shared a litre of the house red wine which was delicious. In total we had 3 starters, a huge steak to share, chips, potatoes, 1 litre wine, 2 colas, 2 coffees and the bill came to around â¬24 euros each! Just so amazing!

Had lunch here. Very nice atmosphere. Attentive staff. Off the beaten track so very Spanish. They must cook all the meats over olive wood or something similar as the flavour is on all the meats. Try the black sausage. It's fantastic. Lamb chops very good and the fillets, which they seem to call sirloin are excellent but you will only enjoy if you like the distinct smokey flavour. I recommend a shared sausage and shared steak with potatas pobre if there is only two of you at lunch. We took some home.
