Reviews on International food in Garachico, Canary Islands, Spain. Garachico is a municipality and town on the northern coast of Tenerife, about 52 km West of the capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife, 50 km from Tenerife North Airport and 67 km from Tenerife South Airport. The town itself nestles below a 500m+ (1500 ft) cliff. Garachico and the surrounding area is arguably the least spoilt coastal area of Tenerife, and is in sharp contrast to areas such as Playa de las Americas. It is still very Spanish in character, and a Spanish phrasebook is advisable for non-Spanish speaking visitors.

We came to Icod with a tour and chose to not go with their restaurant recommendation so walked around and came to this one. It was early so still empty . Food was tasty , homemade, portions were good , waitress pleasant. Cheese was delicious and of a good portion, salad was with veg and fruits- nice combination. And prices were cheaper than in the restaurant recommended before. They do fix prices menu like other places with the same or very similar choices. We were not disappointed

We have a selection of meals in and out of a menu as lasagna , paella, Secreto Ibérico or sirloin in various sauces , among others.
Who would order pizza in an ordinary-looking Spanish place next to a petrol station in a small town? They'll just microwave something from the freezer right? Wrong. Seems La Morada has a real hard-working chef with a real oven. If you like 'healthy pizzas'(!) (thin crispy bread and not dripping with excess cheese) then you may agree that theirs are the best in Tenerife. Or to put it another way... I've tried dozens on the island but this place has my favourite!

A real local's place. Not in the guidebooks or on google maps.
We visited here as part of a tour and the restaurant was mentioned by the tour guide. We could have gone anywhere for lunch but decided to stick with tour guide and have the set meal. Our order was for four Canarian soups, four Canarian chickens, with Canarian potatoes. There were two jugs of house white along with bottled water. Each meal was 12 euros, everybody enjoyed the restaurant and also the food. The wine tastes fine as well, unusual for a house wine. The choice of desert was a bit strange though, ice cream or coffee. One person had coffee the rest of us had lemon ice cream. The meal was very good but the ice cream was a little bit disappointing. Definitely worth a visit.

There is a terrace at the sea front where you can enjoy a varied menu with a specialty in fresh fish and paella you can also enjoy a good coffee watching the ocean
Located on the rocky shore near the tide pools in Garachico, this outdoor restaurant is an excellent choice for lunch. Service is polite, friendly and prompt, even though the three waiters were hustling and visibly perspiring. Good English speakers. The drinks are not expensive and well made. The food is delicious. We had the prawns and calamari, both of which were excellent.Prices are reasonable.Come for the view and atmosphere - enjoy the drinks and food.

We visited this restaurant 3 times as we found it, ticked everything we wanted, fresh ingredients cooked well, at a very reasonable price and you definitely donât leave hungry. We tried a variation of dishes on our visits the highlights being the langostinos à la plancha, and the Salade Taskita, papaya, walnuts with a sweet honey dressing was very nice.We found the cooking was very well executed on all 3 occasions, and the service friendly and attentive.I would a highly recommend the caramel rhum digestif, a perfect ending to the meal
