I have been spoilt in the places travelled where local fish is used, why not here?Tasteless fish, wet rice causing soggy wraps; love the use of fresh Wasabi but, again, tasteless… I want to get smack in the mouth with Wasabi!Better sushi sold in the supermarkets, sorry chaps.Lamentamos su impresión, creemos en que los sabores de la gastronomía japonesa no vienen ligados al wasabi. Entendemos que prefiera el sushi del supermercado. Gracias por su visita y su opinión

Ate here twice as food fantastic. First time we had mixed starter between us and a main each so filling. Second time we both just had mains. Reasonably priced. All staff very polite, professional and knowledgeable. The staff even recongised us after first visit. Would defo recommend

As you walk up to this place you become consumed, this is cool, current and in many ways very different to the other eateries on the island. Its appeal on the curb stands out, takes your eye and makes you think - oooohhh what’s that?! The service, at first, seems well orchestrated, smooth and attentive....now even more so than when you walked in, you really want to stay. As I opened the menu and this is where it became confused, each line item / written 4 times, it’s over complicated and sven having finished eating here I’m still not sure what direction this place is going in. For oysters and a glass of fizz - yes this is your place. For a 3 course meal - no, not here! The amuse-bouche is a lovely touch and whilst it was a wonderful mouth amuser it was just that, an amusement. I opted for the secret cut of pork, Im still not sure of the cut and I’m not overly intrigued either. The taste under whelmed, no different from beaten down pork loin and the copious amounts of oil on the slate that accompanied this secret did nothing for me, however, I’ll admit the chips were a delight! Should I even be saying this though - of everything I’ve eaten the chips were good?!! Reality!!!! Sorry gourmet, I’m not in the club! Dear foodie_queeny88, Thank you very much for taking your time to review us here on TripAdvisor. We apreciate your kind words about the service and the interior design. Regarding your concern about the menu, we are currently working on a new menu and soon you will be able to taste a new and improved Kentia experience. We hope that you give us a second chance and we are looking forward to welcome you soon again. With kind regards,

We ate here after reading the tripadvisor reviews. We ordered the set meal offer. The popadoms and starters were fine. The curries however were very poor. The chicken consisted of really small square pieces, heavily processed and quite tough. Both sauces were extremely thin and watery. Chicken tikka masala should be creamy, this was thin, a very pale oange colour, with no taste whatsoever. Any bought jar of tikka masala sauce would have provided a better consistency and flavour. The chicken madras had the consistency of gravy, there was some mild spiced flavour to this, but not much.I cannot understand the positive reviews posted, unless watery curry is popular in some areas. We later had two meals at the Indian Aroma which were both excellent.
