My friend and I came to this restaurant initially as part of a day excursion we went on (https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/Attraction_Review-g187472-d10799923-Reviews-Excursions_Gran_Canaria-Las_Palmas_de_Gran_Canaria_Gran_Canaria_Canary_Islands.html). We enjoyed the food (and the town of Agaete/Puerto de las Nieves) so much that we decided to have lunch there the next day, all the way from Las Palmas. We both went for fish for both days and because these were "catch of the day" type of fish that were fresh and tasty. The sea view was stunning and the service was good. It's a lovely humble family run restaurant. It was the first occasion for the both of us to taste the mojo sauces and we both liked them very much. I would recommend this restaurant and would come again if I ever go to Gran Canaria again.

We thought it looked traditional and a place where locals would eat and therefore we were looking forward to sampling. However, staff were not very welcoming, service was ok. We were charged for the bread even though we had said we didn't want it and sent it back.Food was ok. I had prawns, my partner had fish.We did not feel comfortable dining here. For 2 beers, prawns, fish dish and bottle of water we were charged â¬37.50 which was fine but, same food in another restaurant in Puerto de Las Nieves was â¬10 cheaper and alot tastier and more pleasant. Check out Dedo de Dios.
We visited this small harbour side restaurant whilst visiting the area on the bus. Whilst we only had pizza and salad it was a lovely experience. Good food, nice location and a really friendly owner. It does a wide selection of fresh fish dishes and it was really popular on the day of our visit â always a god sign. Many thanks for a memorable meal. Not convinced the address and location attached to this trip advisor entry are correct though as it overlooks the harbour. The telephone number is the correct one.

A reasonable set menu can be got here for as little as 6 euros. For just short of 9 euros this consists of 3 courses, bread and a glass of wine or water. It is not fancy but can offer very good value. Go a la carte and a meal for 2 should cost no more than approximately 40 euros including wine. The staff were extremely friendly so I am surprised at other comments about 'surly' staff but perhaps this might have something to do with how customers treat staff - for example why should you expect Spanish restaurant staff to speak English? Make a little effort and this will be reciprocated ten fold. All in all this restaurant, in my view, offered very good value for money.

History location great prices and fabby Canarian food. Situated on a pebble beach in a picturesque village steeped in history. Dedo de Dios or named after the Finger of God statue in the sea. Very clean- food plentiful and delicious. Amazing picture of Christâs ascension from the sea outside the restaurant in the foyer . Canarian mojo great and paella and salad superb!! Worth a visit

Went here one lunchtime to have the menu del dia. We are 2 courses, were given bread, but no dessert, and no drink included in the price despite what the board outside said! The food was nice but you can get the same and nicer service at other restaurants along the harbour.

We have spent several days in Agaete, this is by far the best restaurant for dinner. The prices are reasonable considering the fresh seafood and the sea side location. The services was prompt and professional even on busy Saturday afternoons when we just wanted some coffee. After trying several of the other restaurants on the seaside strip LanDiosa del Mar is definitely our #1 pick.Muchas gracias por su visita

Charming restaurant offering simple but delicious food. The service is excellent and the prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately, the day I visited, they didn't have fresh fish, so I had to settle for the croquettes and fish soup, which were very good.

Went there on the basis of the Trip Advisor reviews and we were not disappointed. The waitresses were attentive and the food was delicious. Mozzarella and tomato salad to start, prawn and scallop spaghetti for the main course and heavenly brownies for desert. We are definitely going back before we leave the island.
