Having lived in Italy for several years I am very particular about Italian food and know a damn good pizza when I eat one. If you have had your fill of fresh fish and Canarian potatoes, this gem of a street restaurant, run by genuine Italians, is a real find. The pizza menu alone has something for everyone including several vegetarian and vegan options. Bases were light and crispy, tomato sauce was tasty and they were generously topped.Service was friendly and efficient and it was lovely to hear La Signora singing along to the background music (also Italian!) The extensive menu also features authentic pasta dishes that mean we will certainly be going back. Some people may prefer to stick to local cuisine but when you can get food this good, why wouldn't you? Grazie a tutti, ci vediamo!Grazie mille

We popped in here again whilst visiting Arrieta, having first eaten here several years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it. Itâs still rather a scruffy little restaurant, but is situated right by the harbour, with wonderful views and lots of parking. We opted for a light lunch: garlic prawns, garlic mushrooms, house salad and the fried cheese...we soaked up everything with fresh bread, and it was all excellent and very tasty...the salad also had a wonderful creamy dressing on it which was a nice surprise as they are normally served here dry, but with oil and vinegar to âdressâ it to your taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and in no rush to move us on whilst we sat and let our meal go down and admired the views. This is not particularly cheap, but worth what you pay in our opinion, and weâve noticed that prices seem to have gone up generally in Lanzarote this year.We will definitely visit again and try other things from their menu.

We were staying in the village, and didnât realise what a gem of a diner we had on the doorstep. We actually dined here several times - a little out of our norm, since we like variety - but the food quality, service and value for money drew us in for repeat visits. The menu choice was sufficiently varied in choice to have a different meal each visit, none of us were ever disappointed in our food.Weâd did not have cash one evening and they only took cash, but they were so trusting, allowing us to nip down the road for some the ATM.Sadly, we would all return - where has our sense of adventure gone?

Four of us ate lunch, two have been here many times and said it was great. It was !!! They both had cherne , we just wanted something smaller, so we had a starter each. They were huge. Husband had avocado, expected half....got a whole one with huge prawns and it had been peeled. I went for the fish croquettes.....expected 3 or 4 , got about 10......and potatoes with salad garnish. Fabulous food, friendly service , good view would certainly return.

Visited here for lunch, completely on spec so to speak. I went for the Mussels Marinara and couldnât believe my eyes when they arrived. The Mussels were huge, extremely sweet and very well cooked. The marinara sauce was to die for. My wife chose the Avocado and Tuna Salad. Again, this was very well presented and very tasteful. All the dishes I saw being served looked great and judging by the comments I overheard they were all being enjoyed. The service and welcome was also excellent. A must visit if in the area.

Lovely little traditional place with great seafood and the best bit is that you can eat on the terrace not only looking at the waves but at full tide they are right under you. Friendly staff and great seafood at a reasonable price. I live here in Lanzarote year round and this is a great spot to eat away from the resorts. I see that this review will the 2000th one so they are doing something right for a long time

Firstly, thereâs no indoor seating so if itâs a bit grey and windy then......good luck with that! Fish of the day was â¬20...and not mentioned anywhere. Most other meals are under â¬10. They have a couple of options that arenât fish. Food was delicious and we all loved it. I would of expect it to cheaper as itâs all very basic furniture wise. Worth a visit if youâre in the area.

La piscina is in a great position in a non tourist, very small, coastal town at north east of the Island. It is very rustic but has a charm. It is directly opposite the sea and there is a small 'natural' swimming pool nearby- hence the name. Menu does not provide for many choices but the fish tapas were so fresh and tasted wonderful. Staff had not been to charm school but that sort of fitted in with the rustic and rough feel to place. Not the place for shy and retiring tourists ?!

Tapas and Canarian cuisine, both takeaway and eat-in. Fantastic find.
Tahojo is a laid-back restaurant where everything is spot on. Tucked in the white streets of Punta Mujeres, close to the dramatic sea and natural swimming pools of this lovely village, the restaurant is fresh and jolly and the food is perfectly balanced: tasty, interesting and healthy. We visited three times during our stay and we enjoyed all: spinach croquettes, Lanzarote style potatoes, beans, fried rabbit, fried eel, the fabulous goat stew. Everything was cooked at perfection: nothing to add. Manuel, Ramon and the kind colleague (I donât remember his name) attending to the service are a fantastic team and this is reflected on the smooth experience at their restaurant. I read some of the reviews complaining about the service and I have only one suggestion to my fellow travellers: relax chicos! Thank you Tahojo!Muchas gracias por su visita y atencion. Ha sido un placer para nosotros. Los mejores deseos para ustedes. Cordialmente Manuel
