We had a wonderful lunch at this tucked away gourmet burger restaurant in the hills above la orotava. It is certainly worth the trip as the selection is varied and unusual. Apart from the plain burger with wedges for my youngest, we had the oishii burger, which blended the succulent patty with American cheese, pickles and a mango ketchup and the other was a Thai inspired burger with wasabi cream cheese and vegetable tempura. All were served with crispy wedges and with drinks for all the bill only came to 22 euros.

We were recommended here. Two of us liked it, one of us did not. Too stark an interior...better lighting and a few plants would help. The food, raved about by our friends, was a disappointment. Not bad, but not as we had been led to believe. All in all, a mixed bag. The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely in a large courtyard.The staff are very attentive and friendly and the food is presented with some style.Unfortunately the food doesn't quite meet the expectations,I had a fillet steak which was slightly tough and tasteless served with lots of cold apple sauce and cold gratinated potatoes.My husband had stuffed chicken which was tasty but didn't have anything served with it.The lunch time menu of the day looks to be very good value at â¬10.90 for three courses but we didn't try it.

We discovered this restaurant by chance while walking around Orotava and it was a great surprise.We were impressed by the cozy, welcoming environment and pleasantly surprised by the very friendly service, always ready to answer questions and offer a nice experience. Additionally, the restaurant displays a very up-to-date decoration with personal touches that make you feel warm and comfortable, like at home. Dabeke would appeal to the so-called foodies and those searching for a reasonably priced yet real gastronomic experience. The quality of the food is also surprising, as it seems to have been very carefully and respectfully manipulated. I would totally recommend the âCevicheâ, which varies daily according to the fish market, the âCarrillera de cerdo ibericoâ (Iberian pork cheeks -served with green curry sauce)so soft it melts in your mouth, and their perfectly creamy âRisottoâ. Also, if you get the chance, you should take a look at their wine menu because itâs excellent value for money. I would totally recommend you to give it a try. You wonât be disappointed!!

We ate here on three evenings, sampling a good range of tapas and selections from the main menu. All was freshly cooked using excellent ingredients. The service was courteous and helpful. Good value. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed dinner here at this lovely restaurant that has a peaceful ambience. The hostess smiles easily and gives good advice on the menu which has a fair selection of dishes at very reasonable prices. The food was first class, hot, good portions, tasty and well presented.

Barely 10 tables, book to avoid dissappointment.Had Canarian potatoes starter, pork cheek main and apple slices flambeed. good local wine, excellent service and friendly smile. Very helpful staff, spoke many languages and were proud of their food.Get the pork cheek.

Fantastic tasty food. There are only about 20 covers in this little restaurant. We were lucky enough to sit outside. Service friendly and an excellent choice for vegetarians.

we made a trip from our place in the south to the north to eat here due the the high reviews and were really disappointed...We had the 'tasting menu' which was ok but nothing really rememberable, oh apart from my wife having not one but TWO huge, we're talking 30mm long & thick, fish bones in a piece of fish no bigger than 50mm square...waiter reponse was "oh really" yes, that's all he said.....Best part of the meal, the red wine and that sums it up, would I return, your joking.I suggest if you want a really decent meal, go south and try the michelin star restaurants....

Visited last night on a âdate nightâ with my wife for the first time. Driven past several times as we lost el nearby and thought must try there some time. Well so glad we went. We had starters to share( served separately) of croquettes of the day (bacon last night) and deep fried Brie. My wife chose the lamb and me the chicken. Both were delicious and just enough to satiate our hunger. Then raspberry mouse and creme brûlée for sweet. The white house wine I had by the glass was good. We finished off with two zaperoco coffees. The whole bill was very reasonable given the taste and presentation. The service was excellent and not intrusive. The only reason I did not rate it with 5 stars was there was no atmosphere on the Tuesday night as we were the only ones in there, till we were joined by another family at an adjoining table. I suggest coming at the weekend where you no doubt will need to book. You can eat outside or inside. I would rate this Restaurant as better than Titoâs nearby in Puerto. Definitely a Restaurant for a special night and to take friends. â
