Canada Villas | Places to Stay in Canada

World class skiing, decadent European style cuisine, ornamental cathedrals, peaceful island life…Canada is a patchwork of thriving cities and majestic wilderness. Montreal beckons travelers with its French charm and booming cultural landscape. In Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario is a vision of Frank Gehry architecture and national artistic treasures. The gleaming mountain ranges of Banff set a stunning backdrop for an exploration of the Canadian Rockies.

Like staying at Grandmas farm house....warm and inviting

Reviewed By SarahandTerry123

Hostesses were very attentive and inviting. Great place to just hang out and relax. Be aware that most rooms have one queen bed and you'll be sharing a bathroom with several other rooms. Common area very nice with the wood fireplace....food was quite good and completely homemade. Beautiful older building that has been maintained with care and has that historic feel to it. Well stocked bar with local craft beer. More suited to a couples retreat than a boys club, but it worked for our plans.

We spent 2 weeks in Dundarave suite for Christmas, it turns to a very special wonderful experience. It's sparkling clean and very comfortable, the kitchen settings is just like I was cooking at my own house, only ever nicer and better equipped, and the build-in temperature controlled wine cellar. I can tell whoever managing this place is so caring with their heart, we found the print out 6pages of user manual under the coffee table, it gives all the instructions towards everything, ex, how to use the Milk froth beside the Nepressor coffee machine, where is the extra portable electronic heater, various well rated restaurants on this street, whom you could contact when you have a question, etc. Like we even have a real land telephone set with local number for my parents to phone me at stay. This is my son's favorite if you can believe it, we have the key to access our mail box for his online shopping delivery. That was awesome.

Pleasant stay, great glamping option

Reviewed By Sandrineinbombay

We had a great time in our cozy Maikan cabin. I never go camping and this was the best of two worlds. A nice little house to stay in, but a bit of a camping feel since we had not toilet of our own. The common bathrooms and showers by the way were very clean and pleasant, so no complaint on that front either. The staff was very helpful. I love that we can buy eggs and a good selection of other local products on site. The mini spas are a great idea, especially during the pandemic, and I enjoyed having the opportunity to take a yoga class, too (note: better to be familiar with yoga posture, it's not a class for total beginners). So overall, I'm very happy with our stay in the woods, though it was not a cheap one. For that price you could get a decent hotel room. We privileged the experience instead.

Great campsite overlooking St Lawrence seaway

Reviewed By Haselor

Well located campsite without access for RVs with relatively private and spacious sites for tents on terraces overlooking le fleuve. The grassy sites all have drinkable water. Clean toilets and showers (no coins Sepaq; made for real people), laundry facilities. Natural open fire pits. We really enjoyed our short stay.

This was our second time to stay at Indian Falls Chalets, but this time we went as a family. Had a fantastic weekend and kids loved it. The hospitality was superb and the owners were very accommodating. Booked a snowmobile tour with the owner, Shawn, and can only give him the best review for making our day such a worthwhile venture. We already have our third trip booked there for Salmon fishing in July!!!

Disaster

Just giving one star since I couldn't find zero or lower. The apartment we had was right in front of a water treatment unit that was making a horrible noise 24h. In addition, you can smell the gas burning as soon as you open the window or stay in the balcony. It was a very toxic smell and you cannot enjoy the balcony or sleep calmly at night because of the noise. We contacted them to change and they said that they are fully booked. I still don't understand how they can offer such a catastrophic apartment. It should be reported to Health Canada. We also had a power outage one hour after we arrived. We didn't manage to contact the administration and no one was available for help. We had to spend the whole night in the dark and didn't even get some candles. We had to leave tomorrow morning since we still didn't have electricity and were obliged to throw away our food because the fridge was not working. Despite all this miserable experience, the administration refused to refund us for the catastrophic night and simply said that we could have left home when the power outage happened.  The apartment was not also very clean as you can easily feel some sticky surfaces on the floor and see some dust. Sofa is very old and not comfortable. The only positive aspect is the view.

Deluxe oceantfront suites, overlooking the Lewisporte harbour and world class Lewisporte Marina. 6 full efficiency units and 2 standard hotel style rooms.

Travel accommodations in Lewisporte NL.

Islands' Villa was recommended to me as "the best place to stay" in Lewisporte and I definitely agree. My room was very clean, spacious and well appointed. Everything I needed was on hand or near by. Check-in and check-out was efficient and friendly. I'm already recommending Islands' Villa to my friends, family and work colleagues. (My only concern is that it becomes too popular and they won't have room for me the next time I need accommodations in Lewisporte). I hope the Owners and Staff keep up the good work and maintain the high standards. Stay Safe & I look forward to returning.
