Casual and informal bistro in Gardens, Cape Town with an a great little bar, "The Snug".
Three stars because the interior is very charming and the service was great; the food, however, fell short. The risotto and the pasta dishes were so over-seasoned that it almost felt like an entire salt cellar accidentally fell into the pot and the chef didn't want to start over. The other dishes, both from the specials board, were nothing special.Dear Julie,Thank you very much for your constructive feedback, it is one of the most valuable tools for us to continue to strive to improve. We are very saddened and concerned by your review. Would it be possible for you to meet with our chef and our owner at your convenience to discuss your experience?

Great venue for a relaxed meal, either inside or outside. A wide range of tantalizing pizzas, pastas, burgers, salads and grills will have you coming back again. Craft beers and a full wine list will keep you from being thirsty; whilst our deluxe and adul
Jill and I were in Cape Town and after walking all over town we wanted a quick meal before we went back to the hotel. Da Vinci's was the perfect place. The tables are not fancy, and neither are the crockery and cutlery. But the food is good and that trumps the other things, as you are not paying a fortune to eat here.Asit was Happy Hour when we got to the restaurant, my Skeleton Coast IPA 330ml was R17.50 instead of the usual R35, Jill had a Rock Shandy, but soft drinks are obviously not Happy as she paid the full R30. Jill originally ordered a lasagne but when it came it was short on meat content and they changed it for a Spagetti Bolognese (R100) I had fish and chips. The fish was two large pieces of hake with crispy chips. These came very hot, and the fish was fresh and white, not frozen, watery and brown. Our Zimbabwean waitress was standing near and before we could ask to have the Lasagne replaced she swooped down on the table and said that she could see Jill was not happy and offered a replacement, immediately. She was followed by the manageress who apologised and asked if the new dish, which came promptly was OK. Apart from the fact that these two deluded ladies were Man U fans, you could not fault the service. That is the sort of service and care for the customer that makes you want you want to return and eat at this restaurant again. Good portions, good cooking and good service. Worth walking up Kloof Street for.

Established in Sept 2012 , an idea born from two cousins , Andrea and Simone who wanted to bring their knowledge and passion for their Nonna traditional recipes from Romagna, a region of Italy situated on the Northern Adriatic coast , to a City they loved
Not sure about this one. Highly recommended a number of friends said to me. I love Italian food, it is relatively simple and perfectly tasty. No surprises. However suprisingly easy to make a mess of. You have the passionate skill or not. Somehow to me that was the bit that was missing. Perfectly prepared. To me flair, passion missing.Hi Jeep And hi friends from Tripadvisor,We are potty you had this average experience and we would like to. hear more about it.We are passioned and also sometimes absessed as Italian for our food. We love the perfection, the preparation, the research of each sigle ingredient and its very hard. for us to hear that you didn't find all this in our dishes. However please if you have some advice or you would like to talk with us about what didn't work for you please send us an email.. For us sharing knowledge about food is always not a wasting of time.Ciao

Authentic Italian family-owned restaurant. Fresh Italian dishes by Chef Enrico Tarantino. Bookings essential via phone, WhatsApp or SMS. No email bookings.
The homemade pasta is so delicious! We went with the advise of the waiter (tagliatelle and ravioli) which was the perfect choice for us. Nice ambiance and really good food are the best combination, I would definitely advise this place for everyone visiting Cape Town.

The name says it all!!! Very good meat and an overall terrific dining experience. Our waiter was terrific and amply handled our very demanding party of 8!. The wine list was first rate and the desserts were delicious. Over experience was terrific. We are glad that our first day in Cape Town was capped off by dining at Carne.

ColâCacchio Camps Bay is an elegantly Italian pizzeria. Weâre all about thin based pizzas, gourmet pastas, and freshly prepared salads.
Love the idea that you can âbuildâ your own pizza, so I get just the toppings I like. Portions are generous. Service was good, but we were early, so not many other diners around. Only disappointment was the VERY expensive Sirloin steak, at R195 for about 100-150 grams it was a rip off.Hi Marion19000,Thank you for taking the time to review our restaurant. We are happy to know that you were impressed with our âbuildâ your own pizza option and service. Please, could you kindly send us a copy of your review and contact details to [email protected] so that we can get in touch with you and further discuss your feedback regarding the steak? Kind regards,The Col'Cacchio Team

Italian flavor and style laced in Camps Bay Cool, resplendent with a splash of Kove Collection abundance. This is Zenzero. Zenzero wraps you shamelessly in 'La Dolce Vita' whilst gently caressing with a cool Atlantic breeze. Italian cuisine is all about f
There are a number of restaurants in this complex, all very similar in style and service. Looks like they are all linked somehow. None the less this food had an Italian bias and could not be faulted. Service was impecable

This understated local pizza place serve the best pizza in Cape Town. I wouldn't say its a first date spot, but whenever I'm in CPT I always make a stop here. Definitely a spot to have lunch with friends. (not sure if they still run it, but their lunch time deal cant be beaten for price and quality) The service is always good and the manager (Karl) is a really friendly and helpful guy. Dear guestThank you so much for this amazing review and especially for your continued support. We appreciate our regular customers very much. Thank you too for the kind comments about our staff, we do it with pleasure. We are happy to report that our unbeatable lunch special is indeed still on :) We look forward to seeing you again. All the bestThe Goloso Team

This is a lovely italian restaurant. The pizzas are thin based and very tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. You can eat in or order takeaway if you fancy going out. Beware 'going large' The 'small' portion is sufficient. Or don't have a starter. Recommend to visitor to Camps Bay
