Yves the owner/chef seems like to live in the 60's. A temple for music with a collection of over 200.000 songs and a basic German food, very tasty and very good. Right place for group of people. I was positively impressed.

A very nice place to enjoy a nice dinner whether it is for business or pleasure. It is on the expensive side as compared to other places in Yaounde. The goat cheese salad is a nice way to start. They add few drops of honey on the goat cheese which gives it a nice flavor that blends well with the cheese. The sauteed shrimps in garlic and arrabiata sauce were excellent. A reasonable wine menu although French wines are on the very high side. The prices for South African wines were more reasonable and just as good. The music can get very loud, but still manageable. Worth a visit.

The restaurant looks very good for Cameroon standards and is located next to the main boulevard of Buea. The personnel was very friendly, offering information for every dish on the menu, making suggestions that met our requests. The food is decent, not spectacular, however we had a nice dinner overall.Thank you very much. We're pleased you had a nice dinner. So good that I went there two nights running. Friday night mellow jazz is excellent. Good, well presented food with a french influences. Atmosphere is intoxicating: open arrangement with jasmine-scented gardens and candles. Staff are charming and proprietor Nathalie is one of a kind. In my opinion, among the top 3 restaurants in Yaounde.

We have been wanting to visit Saga Africa for quite a while since it looks so inviting when you pass. On a practical note itâs great you can park outside even though it is a busy road and inside you have the choice of air conditioning or not, both locations are equally atmospheric. Food was very tasty, I went chinese, my hubby went for pizza, 6,500cfa each. They do loads of local recipes which is great if you fancy Ndole or Poulet dg! Prices seemed a little high for local food, 7,500cfa for half a poulet dg and 10-15,000cfa for roast fish. We were in a large group and everyone enjoyed their meals. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful which is always a bonus. I would thoroughly recommend Saga Africa!

We went here 2 evenings for dinner. The first one was absolutely the best grilled chicken we had in long time. The chef prepared it with an elegant mix of spices, very tasteful. Compliments. The staff is friendly and helpful. The second evening was disappointing. The skewer with fish was over cooked and had no flavour. The skewer with beef ditto. What happened? Well the chef was not working that evening. Thus: if you want a good meal..... assure that the chef is behind the BBQ.

Stayed a couple of times at the Hilton where this restaurant is and actually have mixed feelings... One day it is great the other a bit average and bland. Staff are super friendly, service is great, setting is wonderful... I enjoyed the afternoon buffet a great deal. The Safoutier dining experience in Yaoundé is well known, particularly for its entrées and desserts. On this occasion they didn't disappoint. The pasta bar is also very good. I think it would be worthwhile if they also had a buffet towards the end of the day, so you could justify a heavy meal after work and not in the middle of the work day. Still a good experience nonetheless. The staff are also very polite and well trained.
