Had high expectations when arriving at this restaurant but rather disappointed with the food. Ordered duck for the main course....medium....sent it back to kitchen as although it looked pink medium cooked it was very tough. Dish later returned with waitress saying it had been re-cooked. I doubt it! It was not hot and the appearance and 'toughness' remained the same. Starter was OK...a galette of aubergine....but sadly, again rather disappointing. Can't now remember my husband's choices but suffice to say we did not order pudding or cheese and felt equivalent of £100 for dinner with one bottle of wine rather overpriced! The restaurant itself is very pleasing by way of décor, and the large outside terrace with great views is a delightful place to sit for dinner.

The food was delicious. Well cooked with fresh ingredients. The duck breast was wonderful with a glorious juice whilst my wife's venison was delightful. Truth told, much better than the well below average food served up on the marina. Wine here surprisingly inexpensive around 5 euros a glass, although sure they'll sell you a good red for days wage. Here for my wife's birthday so not impressed with confusion re timing when we arrived. Had us down an hour later. A little annoying. And seemed annoyed when not wanting to take a table inches from the pavement. That said, was happy with the food. But again, it is the little things that go wrong we customers remember.

The first place to eat on the beach and with sunbeds for hire. Paid 15 euros for 2 but got them for free if you had lunch there ! Good varied menu but a little expensive

This is a great restaurant. The food is excellent as well as the location on the beach and the service. It is the only place we came back during our 10 days in the Balagne. The salads are rich and tasteful. We especially loved the Ceasar salad 'of the house'. My wife loved the pasta with gamba's. They sell it in a lot of restaurants on Corsica but here it is the best. It is adviced to make reservations (beach side table!) because this place is buisy from breakfast till late at night.

Nous proposons uniquement des plats froids, composé de charcuterie, de fromage, de terrine, melon, salade... Nous ne prenons pas de réservation. Merci de votre compréhension.
Great views, lovely food and good local wine. Itâs at the back of a deli. We shared a large platter. It was beautiful as was the local Calvi wine. I gorged on the cafe gourmand. We were there on a a Thursday. You canât reserve and we were advised to arrive at 7pm but in fact, on this night it was never full. Goodness knows why!

Service? You expect service? What? At THESE prices?Really. Onion-flavoured rissoto (was to be a seafood melange) with three mid-sized but aquacultured prawns (well prepared, BTW) with a jaw-dropping price. And no attempt at managing communications in another language (not even Italian).

Great location and ambiance. But on arrival we were sitting for 10 minutes without even being offered a drink, until I eventually reminded the staff that they might want to come and see us. Then we found that the answer to any request regarding the menu was a brusque "no". Can we combine a dish from the set menu with a dish from the carte? "No". Can we have a small portion of risotto for a starter? "No". Can we have a side of vegetabes with the main course? "No".Food quality was ok but it's expensive for what you get - I suppose you're paying for the location.

La Bouillabaisse ne se déguste que sur Réservation. Nos amis les chiens sont les bienvenus. "Lieu à découvrir pour les amateurs de poissons et amoureux de la mer"
This little casa is perfect for an off the beaten track romantic meal. We definitely struggled a little with the lack of English, but honesty thatâs our fault for our terrible or lack of French not theirs. I had what translates as a âDentistâ fish, so no clue what that is but apparently itâs a good local fish. Loved it. My boyfriend had the lobster which he was able to meet and greet right before it was cooked. It was a long meal with good waits between courses but we werenât in a hurry to go anywhere as we were enjoying the location so much. So glad our hotel recommended this place. One thing thatâs very important to mention is that, we traveled all over corsica and went to some Michelin star restaurants and their chocolate cake with the soft centre was to die for! It was so so so good! Pics below
