We are located within the beautiful Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park in a very quiet part of Callander. We are only a short ride away from Doune Castle, Stirling, Glasgow and Edinburgh. We have off street hard standing parking to the front of the property, 3 electric vehicle charging points parking at the rear for motorcycles and secure storage for bicycles. A drying room is available for wet weather clothes. We have a comfortable guest lounge where you can relax. All our rooms have recently been upgraded. We have broadband wireless Internet available throughout the building. As well as our beautiful en-suite double, twin and family rooms and two spectacular superior double rooms. Starting the day with a great breakfast is very important to us. We guarantee your stay will exceed all your expectations.

The Crags Hotel has been taken under new management as of the middle of June 2017, we are very excited to make the place our own and to welcome our new and returning guests. The hotel is located in the heart of Callander, which is surrounded by stunning scenery and historic Scottish landmarks. This makes it a great base for exploring the beauty of the surrounding area - whether by foot, by bike or by car. The town of Callander has two small supermarkets as well as a selection of cafes, restaurants and pubs. The hostel is run as a social enterprise, with profits helping to support young people in the local area. In light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation, shared dormitories are not currently available. There are a variety of different room configurations available for private hire (all of which are en-suite). Additional cleaning protocols have been introduced throughout the building a new self check-in procedure has been implemented. All guests are encouraged to make use of the various hand sanitising stations that can be found around the premises. For those who still want to make of them, the hostel’s communal areas (kitchen and lounge) have been reconfigured to facilitate social distancing and reduce shared items.
