You'll never go wrong stopping here. If you're going at dinner time expect a line when you walk in the door and you better grab the first open table you see.
The chicken nuggets, fried chicken and ribs are great. I always order green beans and greens as my sides, these have become the standards that I measure other restaurants to.

Showed up on a Monday, during lunch-time. Roomy, comfortable, and the food was--almost too much to handle. Had to do a "To-Go" box. Everything was very tasty, and our glasses never got empty. Even took one with us. Parked right at the front door. Now doubt we'll be returning...only 20 minutes up Hwy 1/23 from Jacksonville.

We were passing through and stopped in for dinner. Hubby and I both ordered the Mahi grilled lightly blackened and it was fabulous!!! The baked potato, slaw and hush puppies were excellent as well. Adam was very friendly and made sure we were taken care of!! Will definitely be stopping by again! Thanks Adam!

The food was good, have had better but do not regret. We had almost everything. The beef, bbq, chicjken, ribs, fish and shrimp. The vegetables were good too.

Deciding on where to go for our anniversary. So we chose a motorcycle ride north from work and since the other places we chose were closed on Mondays, we came here. We both like Asian foods, so having never been to a Wasabi before, we stopped. Ample parking. Even at 4 pm, only two couple inside, service was quick, provided menus and gave us a few minutes to decide. We ordered and food was back out to us in 10 minutes, that was quick service and we both swapped food to taste from each other plates. Hubby likes stir fry so he picked shrimp and I tried chicken along with spring rolls. Soup and salad was provided before the meal and I asked for tea after our meal. Prices are decent and we left with full bellies! Enjoyed our meal and off into the sunset we road to get back home.

Very laid back atmosphere in the restaurant. I had never really had mexican food before, so I wasn't sure what to order. Our server explained a few things on the menu, and then when she brought out a dish to the table in front of us, she told me what it was on the menu. It smelled so good I ordered it! It was the El Dorado Fajitas special. It came with mexican salad, refried beans, mexican rice, tortillas, and a sizzling skillet of chicken, shrimp, beef, chicken and sausage. It all tasted wonderful.. but the refried beans were outta this world. I had never eaten them before, so I can't really compare them to anything else, but they were smooth and creamy and heavenly with an earthy taste to them. I could have just eaten them for dinner, that's how good they were!
My husband ordered the El Dorado quesadilla with chicken, and he found it to be quite delicious as well. The chicken inside of it was juicy and tasty.
Oh yeah, and they give you free chips and salsa as you come in, which they make themselves. It was also delicious. I was happy to find that they were very sparing with the cilantro, unlike other places that smother everything in that nasty herb. You could actually taste the other ingredients in the salsa! It was wonderful.
I would definitely eat here again!
Oh yes.. it was ~$30 for two of us.

I went in on a summer day. There was no working air conditioner. I think they had a fan on. The back door of the kitchen was open. You could see it from the eating area. I would not eat there.

We have frequented this restaurant since they opened. The steaks are just amazing and are the next best thing to being up north! They are big & cooked perfectly every time. As a plus, they deliver! Their portions are quite large.
Have to mention that we've tried a lot of things from their menu. When they first opened, the pizza & calzones were just as terrific but the last 3 times we've gotten either, they were burnt. It seems like the kitchen staff (new maybe?) hasn't quite gotten the hang of the heating zones in the pizza oven. The wings were bad compared to a wing place but we were not surprised, considering their area of expertise seems to be the cheesesteaks.
While we won't order pizza or wings anytime soon, we highly recommend the cheesesteaks. (They even have Whiz!)

Linda Jean's is a long time establishment in Callahan. The restaurant was originally started years ago my Linda Jean's mom, and was called Ann's Diner. They do breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is great. Wonderful pancakes and omelets made to order. For lunch their are usually two specials for the day, with a list of country style sides. You can also order off the regular menu if you prefer a sandwich, burger, etc. It has the style of an old time diner, but the food is excellent. The people are very nice and it is a pleasant dining experience.

Wasn't sure what to expect here. It's not much to look at from the outside. It's a small establishment, but we were not disappointed. Not the first time, anyway. The second visit, the meat was tough, with a bit of gristle. But the third visit was better. Everyone has an off day. The staff are all very friendly. We like the Teriyaki Chicken, and the Philly Cheesesteak Fries. And the cook/owner is willing to make your fries just about anyway you can think of. Combining menu items in new ways is a challenge he enjoys. We will go back. They also take online orders, and they deliver. Both pluses for us.
