Great dim sum near SFO
Dim sum was delicious and not too salty overall. Shrimp dumplings, pan fried chives and shrimp, pineapple and custard buns, baked BBQ pork buns, shrimp rice rolls were all good. Service was decent. It got busy shorty after it opened at 10:00 am on Saturday. Parking could be tight even it had a parking lot.

Serving authentic Japanese cuisine with American flair. Sukiyaki, Tempura, Tonkatsuand Sashimi. US prime grade steaks. Assortment of Japanese appetizers. Featuring Satsuma Wagyu Tataki and Steak. Casual dining with superior food experience. Wine and Sake
We were visiting from Hawaii and were in Millbrae overnight after our flight into/out of SFO. We ate here twice and both times the food and service were excellent. The first time we ate here it was just my husband and me. He had the Sukiyaki and I had the Chicken Teriyaki meal. My husband enjoyed the Sukiyaki and said it was very filling and the sauce/soup base was very flavorful. The Chicken Teriyaki was tender and delicious. We both ordered the miso soup, while he had a fresh green salad as a side and I had the white rice, which was fluffy and of good quality. The second time we were here, my husband and I ordered the same dishes and our two sons accompanied us and they each had the Chicken Katsu Curry and a side of Tempura. They said the curry was great and the tempura was crisp and not oily. They both enjoyed their meals. The owner Kaoru and our server Thomas were so pleasant, welcoming and efficient. They kept checking to see if we were enjoying our meal. Both times the restaurant filled quickly with other patrons who appeared to be regulars, which to us says a lot about the quality of the food and service.

Grand Palace is a dim sum and seafood restaurant located in the heart of downtown South San Francisco. We are conveniently located in proximity to SFO, and Caltrain stations.
My friend and I stopped in for a Dim Sum lunch. Restaurant was not crowed when we arrived and we were seated quickly. Largest dim sum selection I have every seen. No steam cart - one just orders off a menu. One peeve.... as the only non-Asian guests in the restaurant, service was not outstanding. Other Asian guests arriving much later than us were served more quickly and with a smile. Food was quite good - and we ordered 8 different small plates. Price was $44 w/o tip.

Continues w/ notably good quality, large individual dumpling sizes compared to other Dim Sum place between SF and mid-peninsula, and clientele mostly Asians, a good sign. To avoid heavy noon-ish crowds, even mid-week, would arrived before 12noon.
The restaurant was packed with clients at 7pm. Mainly regulars ordering their specials for the day, hamachi Kama (yellow tail cheeks), sashimisâ and Omakase (10 pieces of nigiri sushi) recommended by the Chef. Tempura and special sushi rolls also popular. My Wife chose the beef teriyaki combo with spicy tuna roll. It tasted spicy! Price was mid range and the environment small but functional! Service was quick and attentive.

Had lunch with friends at Red Lobster in San Bruno. Itâs a good place for lunch. I ordered the Fish & Chips lunch special. The fish pieces were on the greasy side. There was 4 pieces of Fish a few fries & Coleslaw. I think I just ordered the wrong dish. Red Lobster has a lunch special every day from 11-3pm. Red Lobster is in the San Bruno Towne Center. So thereâs a free parking lot. There is also a full bar. The service was very good!Hi, beyardoe. New England Lobster Market & Eatery is an authentic east coast seafood experience in the San Francisco area. We started in the wholesale business delivering quality seafood at a great value and took that experience to serve customers at our restaurant. Wh
Spent 2 nights in San Fran and visited here on both nights, we loved the lobster chowder and sampler platter. We tried the lobster tacos but felt the portion was small . It can be difficult to find it is about 10 min walk from the Aloft hotel. if you are not familiar with the area I would suggest getting an uber, we visited later at night and it wasn't as busy as lunch time. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable definately give it a try if you are staying at the airport .The lobster chowder is always a great choice, Teresa, and we're delighted to see that you loved it! Thank you for your kind words, and we hope to see you back for more again soon. Have a great day,Danny Rosa, Manager
