Things to do in Citrus Heights
We had not been here in over a month, but it is just as great as before. We tried new dishes and old favorites. The new roll, the Citrus Heights, was so delicious with asparagus, three types of fish, avocado and green onion. The mushroom bomb appetizer was so tasty that we wanted more. If you like sashimi, the P3 plate is really wonderful with 16 chef selected pieces. Highly recommended. Best place in our neighborhood for sushi and other Japanese specialties.
This is a friendly family run business who know many of their customers and remember what you like to order. The food is grilled and the combination plates include either grilled chicken, beef, or seafood along with bean sprouts and a green salad and a scoop of rice. You can get it bento style or you can order a rice bowl or noodle bowl. The food is not oily or greasy like the food at Panda Express. You can see many of the customers come in wearing their clothes from a gym workout.

Think of Cheers for a sushi restaurant. This is our neighborhood place for lunch or dinner when we are in the mood for fresh fish and consistent service. The wait staff is always friendly and helpful. It is kind of tucked away in the corner of the strip mall so you are not likely to just notice it.We like the rolls:freaky Friday, orange blossom and fire cracker. Sashimi is also quite good. Not the fastest service, but worth the wait. Rolls are half price. I have tried several sushi places in the area and find this place very satisfying without the high dollars.

Come by your local Noodles & Company at 6123 Sunrise Blvd., , Citrus Heights where its globally inspired dishes including noodles, soups and salads, come together to create a World Kitchen.
Been a fan of Noodles for some time and been to this location twice now. Once for my free birthday bowl and now for dinner I tried a new Featured Dish - Thai Hot Pot. Was craving some Thai spice and driving by remembered this location and thought id come eat here instead of risking a Thai restaurant that I didn't know, plus I wanted to walk around and do some browse shopping so this was perfect. I don't eat chicken or pork and this dish had both but they were so accommodating and since all the dishes are customizable they substituted both the meats for shrimp and didn't charge me a substitution charge. The ladies here are so friendly and really know the menu and are quick to offer suggestions. The Thai Hot Pot that I got extra spicy was fabulous and really hit the spot and cured the craving for spice since they provided a side of hot peppers for me to add which I added and ate them all. Yummy noodles and salads here as well as soups and its becoming that time with Fall upon us. They are right next to Starbucks too and have nice outside seating. Come check them out if you haven't already. Sign up in line for coupons and offers and a free birthday meal.

Not a fan of sushi but love this place for lunch. Food is great and so is the service. No one rushes you but if you are in a hurry, they handle that as well.

After watching a movie, my friends and I decided to have lunch at Mikuni in Roseville. In spite of the many diners waiting, it didn't take us long to get seated. The receptionists were very friendly and polite. The food was excellent!
