The pizza was good, but every table in the place had used dishes on it. They were completely overwhelmed and it wasn't really all that busy. Waited at the bar for about 10 minutes for a drink - finally gave up. There are probably a lot of better pizza places to go to.

Stroll along 17th St., between Lighthouse and Laurel and you will find one of the Peninsulaâs favorite spots, La Mia Cucina. This little jewel, with its fresh ambiance and tantalizing menu, is popular with everyone. The colorful European advertising poste
Always perfection from start to finish! Warm, welcoming service and ambiance - and every bite is pure bliss. The house salad is my most favorite salad on the planet - Iâve never known anyone to be disappointed by any appetizer, entree, or desert. A wonderful place for a friends/family celebration, a romantic dinner, or for a solo diner to savor the moment.

Instead of bread/butter, Lalla brought a small bucket of house-made potato chips to begin. Good chips, and we asked for more. We both opted for half sandwich with soup for lunch, and both were delighted with the food. My wife's BLT was loaded beyond the ability of the bread to hold it all, so I got to sample crisp bacon as well as canadian bacon from the overflow. My brisket melt was also tasty and the soup was terrific.

Il Vecchio was a charming and delicious choice for dinner. The grilled vegetables were a healthy and tasty appetizer. My husband had lamb and pasta. I had shrimp and vegetables on skewers. We were both very pleased. We split vanilla gelato and caramel for desert to top it off. Yum!

We were lucky to have a table overlooking the Monterey bay, with Sea Lions and otters swimming by. Food was excellent, but not light. Made to Italian gourmet cooking. We had bass and lobster tails. Wish the bread was warm and crunchy, though. Otherwise, we enjoyed every bit of it, together with a Chianti bottle, that didn't disappoint us at all.Service was excellent. Thanks so much for taking the time to write such a nice review. Cafe Fina truly is the best place to sample both the spectacular Monterey Bay view and fresh seafood. Our Italian classics are all made from old family recipes handed down through the generations and can't be beat. So glad you found us; enjoyed the meal, the view and our staff! Please come back again soon.

My daughter chose this restaurant and it was delicious. Definitely try Lasagna- they are famous for. Spaghetti with meat sauce was great. Loved the Wedge salad and is big enough to split! Cream sauce dishes are super heavy. Cake was delicious and huge portion.

This is the spot for wonderful pizza, pasta, salads, sandwiches and other Italian food. Hands down. Look no further if in the Monterey area. The restaurant is very easy to access from anywhere near Monterey, including Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, etc. The service is great and the food is, well, the best. We did simple take-out pizza, dinner on-site, and lunch all within 10 days. And I'm sure we'll be back prior to heading back home. It is a popular spot so reservations are highly recommended for the 6:00 to 8:00 prime dinner window. The pizza is from a wood-fired oven and there are 4 seats right across from the oven so you can watch the process if you like. The pasta is made fresh and I was told on-site; it is definitely fresh, though. While not pressed in the American fashion, the ciabatta bread is made fresh, too. We've had the Burrata pizza, the Tirolese pizza, the artichoke/fontina ravioli, meatball ciabatta, as well as lasagna and all of these dishes were spectacular. The wine list is not extensive - it is, however, perfectly suited to the foods served. And the service staff is personable, knowledgeable and always happy to assist. This is just a fantastic restaurant.
