Sie können Bilder haben, haben wir gemacht. Ist ein sauberes und ansprechendes Chinabuffet mitten in Barstow
We have eaten at this place a couple of times and the second time was 'worse' than the first. That's interesting to say because it is so 'popular' for lots of food but not very good food. You would think that the Chinese would be good but it was average. They also serve American but that is poor for a place that serves so many. We had to wait a long time the last time we were there and each time we drive by now we'd rather go up the road to the Panda Express.
Average ice cream and a super advertised drink with something i really didn't understand that is average as well. Curiousity got me there and yeah it's OK
Hands down the best food ever dont get me started about their cold salads and spring rolls. It's healthier, being that there is less grease. My son favors this buffett more than the fried greasy american style buffetts. He loves noodle dishes. And I agree, their veggie dishes are great. So if you are in Barstow's shopping outlet, in the back is this wonderful Buffett.

I have never liked Panda Express. I got it as the line at McDonald's was too long and I had Popeye's when the tour bus was going thru a few days earlier. I got the teriyaki chicken and veggies. The chicken was good and moist, not overly dry, got a good amount of it too. The veggies were kale, broccoli and I think cauliflower. I forget. But they were good and still had some crunch. I'd get this again. The servers were grumpy and lazy, but not horrible.

I used to go to a place in Barstow called the Palm Cafe that had everything included, but then I could't find it once, so tried this place. It was basically the same. I ordered the ground sirloin covered in onions, and it came with a salad, either egg drop or navy bean soup, a roll, french fries (my choice), green beans (canned, ugh), and dessert all for $10.95. It was just a good, old fashioned American meal. Ice cream was really tasty. The waitress was lovely. I was driving 650 miles that day, it was hot, and she graciously filled my travel cup with ice and water. The place is several blocks off the freeway, carrying people to and from Las Vegas and route 40, and was filled mostly with locals.
Mostly precooked pick your dishes with rice and or lo mein. 1,2,and 3 item prices. I had kung-pao chicken(fair), orange chicken(good) and bbq pork(good). They did have soda and juice. No alcohol that I recall. But there is a grocery store next in the same center that has everthing and more. Total cost was $8.95 plus tax. There was a dining area but I took the food back to the motel where I was staying. Overall a typical Chinese fastfood place.

Ate8 Dumpling & Noodle House is a Chinese fast food concept bringing the food court/cafeteria style from the island of Taiwan!
If you are driving to Las Vegas via I-15 from California West Coast, you most probably will pass a city called Barstow. If you don't feel like having burger, pizza, fried chicken or diners, now you have one extra choice. Ate8 specializes in Taiwanese food. The menu is short and streamlined, but what it lacks in choices, it more than enough makes it up in quality. The wonton is well made and the broth in which it is served is really tasty. I can't believe that it is actually found here, where I expect more like a lesser firm of Panda Express. The rice combo with fried chicken, and another one with pan fried pork chop (especially the pork chop) is really tasty as well. The place is new, and the design is simplistic modern, with high ceiling. It feels less claustrophobic than a shop in a strip mall that could be selling similar food in LA or SF. Oh, and the place looks very clean.

Happen to stumble upon this small family run cafe. I felt like I was brought back in time by at least 40 years.Even the booths and furniture is well dated. The restaurant has many local loyal customers hanging out. The place is not in tip top shape but then again itâs keeping its authentic feel. The service is good and the staff is friendly. Fair advise... may have to wait a bit for your food.... cos itâs just family members here. The food quality is quite good. We had lunch here and we enjoyed it.Itâs off the beaten path but if youâre ever near Barstow, drop by for a bite.Happy eating

We needed some food on the run so we stopped here for a take away and the food we got was not only delicious but at a fabulous price. The amount of food was great. The service was fast, nice and efficient. I would come here again for a meal/take away.
