Nice little find in the canyon next to sawdust festival grounds. Quality food at a mid-range price. Typical breakfast selections together with creative alternative options. Reason for 4 rating instead of 5, is it would be nice to offer light to medium roast coffee with the dark. Friendly, helpful counter service staff. Like dining with the open kitchen.

If you are looking for food to stock up for a few days or prepared food, this Whole Foods is right downtown, one block from Main Beach. Whole Foods is normally considered expensive, but compared to resort food, it is cheap! And they have a very good selection of healthy options.

Our first time stopping here for a casual lunch before visiting the Art Museum and after a stroll in Heisel Park. Loved the falafel bowl and stuffed grape leaves here! My husband said the grape leaves were the most flavorful heâs ever had. The bowl was generous and easy to share. The baba ganush was very good but we missed the smokey flavor it sometimes has at other restaurants. There is a lovely sunny deck upstairs to enjoy your meal where a nice mix of eclectic music is playing but not overwhelming your conversation.

We walked in and stood for several minutes waiting for either a host to seat us, or, someone who worked there to say something like, "take a seat and we'll be right with you."When that did not happen, I took a couple of menus and sat down at a table. Again, no one seemed to care one iota about us. After sitting at the table for a few minutes without so much as "boo!" from the staff at Anastasia, we left. Never, ever have we walked into a dining establishment and been so blatantly ignored. Maybe it's a local thing, but that kind of rudeness warranted this review.

Old House Garden Café, Located at 320 North Coast Hwy, is a beautiful historic structure. It has become home to a delightful teahouse, coffee hangout and a gorgeous restaurant. The Old House Garden Cafe has changed the ambiance and menu from the former Ma
We were there 2/12 in line to place an order in full view of the cook. He dipped bread with his hands into a huge 6 quart(?) vat of eggs making french toast (maybe also used for scrambeled eggs) It is at room temp by the stove and then spread raw eggs on everything he touched. A ham, some plates and the bent to the lower fridge and pulled out a raw chicken breast with those filthy hands and put it on the flat top grill. He wiped those filthy hands on the dirty towel at his waist and proceeded to plate dishes and continued to cook. He never washed his hands and everything he touched had raw egg and raw chicken on it. I told the manager, who was quite calm and reacted very little. Then we left. I couldn't find the number of the OC Health Dept. This is criminal.

Great choice for your morning caffeine fix, French pastry, omelettes, crepes, jambon sandwich, salads or desserts. Friendly service and tasty food. Can get very busy and they have been known to sell out of some of their popular offerings. Our favorite stop while visiting Laguna Beach.

Absolutely wonderful breakfast. Staff is very friendly, cordial and efficient. Fantastic pastries. The home-style breakfast potatoes were incredible. Coffee was very, very good. But the real treat was the homemade raspberry jam. Bought an entire jar to take home. This will definitely be our go-to breakfast spot next time we are in town.

Traditional diner. Serving traditional American breakfast and some mexican specialties in a relaxed atomosphere.
The Penguin is my go-to for breakfast in Laguna Beach, mostly because the end counter stool comes with an ocean view (if you're lucky and the back door is open)Diner standards are delicious and very reasonably priced by OC standards. Decor is a diner-kitsch penguin overload. Open (and close) early, 6-2 or something like that, and closed Sun.

When in Laguna Beach Urth's Cafe is the best breakfast place I have been to in along time. We happened upon this place while spending some time in Laguna. It was so good we eat there every morning after. Enjoyed our breakfast on an outdoor patio. When in Lagunado not miss this place.
