If you're looking for a quiet upscale restaurant for lunch, this is the place. The restaurant has a full bar and good wine selection.Check out the daily fish specials. The day I was there, they were offering fresh halibut - either grilled or in a lemon butter/caper sauce. It was delicious with a side of green beans and roasted potatoes. The small insalata mista is a good way to start the meal. And a creme brulee is a good way to end it!Service is attentive and professional.

Authentic Italian pizzeria with pizza counter, wine, artisanal beer & full bar and European hospitality.
My partner and I were staying in San Barbara for the 3rd time this year, and after a large lunch on the road decided to share a pizza at this Pizzeria. For a change of pace, we decided to eat at the bar so we could watch the pizza being constructed and cooked in the wood fired pizza oven. After ordering some nice glasses of wine we decided to get the Margherita D.O.C. They use superior ingredients on this Margherita which is well worth the additional cost above the regular Margherita. It was absolutely delicious. I have to say this isnât the first time Iâve been to this restaurant and itâs definitely a place to go if you like pizza and other authentic Italian dishes. The Wine List is flooded with many Italian wines by the glass or bottle. This is a great casual friendly place you wonât want to miss. Bon appetito!

I have to say wandering down the dark unlit Street two or 3 blocks off of State Street, I was worrying at what kind of place we would end up at. But like an oasis in a desert, the brightly lit restaurant was a welcome sight. The outside areas are strung with dozens of fairy lights with fountains and lanterns dotted around the patio- very reminiscent of restaurants in Marrakesh (or indeed Beirut). The food was also sublime, we shared the vegetarian feast which was billed as an appetiser, but we were so full after we had no room for a main course. The feast consisted of a trio of dips, a fattoush salad, cheese cigars and falafel along with some pitta bread. We did however save some room for some excellent baklava. Overall, the service was good and we were not rushed at all. Would thoroughly recommend this magical place

Convivo is a Santa Barbara restaurant with an Italian soul. Chef-Owner Peter McNee's food is best described as âNomad Italianâ. It strays from the standard or traditional Italian, sourcing inspiration from many other culturesâ cooking but its soul is thor
Dine outside for lovely garden setting and delicious uniquely prepared food. They have a different take on many of the normal selections so unusual but still good. My pasta dish with seafood and butter sauce was special but my spouse's salad was not. Pricey and small portions. In the Santa Barbara INN

Loquita is a Spanish restaurant offering authentic Spanish food including hot and cold tapas and pintxos, wood-fired seafood, grilled meats and three types of paella. The wine list is comprised almost entirely of Spanish wines and the cocktail program fea
Food here is wonderful and the ambiance in the outside patio area is fantastic. Prices on wine are extremely high, but the sangria is good and reasonably prices. There are lots of tapas dishes, as you would expect. But when you order a couple of these (they aren't big) and then a paella, the cost shoots up to be extremely expensive, even for Santa Barbara! So go if you want to have a special meal or date, but save it for special!

Found this place because of all the great reviews, and a friendly bartender down the street highly recommended it so we made an early reservation and went. Service was incredible (thanks Juan!) as was the food and wine selection. This is definitely one of those places you would love to keep secret just because it is so good. But, if you are in SB and looking for a wonderful dining experience make a reservation and enjoy! They've got an awesome little bar towards the back to grab a drink at, or eat if it's too busy.

Nice little wine bistro with outside seating - perfect for nice warm sunny afternoon. And, as a bonus - wonderful live music adding to the atmosphere.
