Opened in 1979, we are a family owned Chinese restaurant specializing in Mandarin and Szechuen cuisine. We always use the freshest ingredients and use local produce when available. All of our appetizers, including potstickers, are made by hand. Limited de
Besides wonderful service, Peking offers wonderful choices. Our favorite ia a combination called "W" which consists on kim chi, wonton soup, egg rolls, almond chicken, sweet & sour pork and of course, steamed rice and hot tea. All this for $11/pp. We always take about 1/2of this home for at least one more meal for the 2 of us. Last week we added an order of deep-fried asparagus to this feast. There is a full menu of other choices including some that are very spicy. "W" just happens to be our personal favorite. We have never been disappointed. Oh, except when we went to lunch after 2 pm. They stop serving lunch at 2pm and start dinner at 5pm.

Wonderful selection of dishes. Selections can be adjusted to the spice level tolerance of the diners. This made our choices eatable for young and old alike in our party. Service was speedy, polite, and very efficient. Good food, service, and company made for a delightful experience.

This was our second dining experience here this year...both were excellent. The food met or seceded expectations for our groups of 11 and 5. Our server This time was the best I have ever had in a Chinese restaurant. Restroom facilities were updated and very clean....this is a must try restaurant in the Stockton area!!!
Late afternoon, commuter traffic looming on my mind, I decided to stop there rather than brave the afternoon gauntlet that is Hwy 99 during rush hour and construction zones. My auntie introduced me to it when she worked at the county center, Dept. of Aging. It was still within walking distance for her. It still provides a tasty repast and a fairly dicey location, but the little ole granny who she was called it one of her favorites, along with the now defunct Hoosiers. Hot, spicy or bland, OLS has it. Seems like stuffed shirts and suits attend regularly too.I had the Mongolian beef and great memories returned. The have some of the best hot tea and a convincing interior. Still good, still plan to return.

This is an excellent, popular, and reasonably priced Chinese restaurant in Stockton. It is easily worthy of inclusion on Tripadvisor.

Just moved in to the neighborhood and was looking for something quick and close to eat. We had the good fortune of ordering from this place. The food was really good, great flavor, fresh tasting, and the prices are EXCELLENT!!! The staff here was very friendly. We ordered to go, so can't comment on the dine in service. I will definitely be back here!

Went here based on Yelp reviews while driving through the area.It stood up to its reputation. Excellent food - every item we tried was great including the soup. The ambience was traditional and nice. The server was very courteous and helpful - he noted and took care of the allergy info some ppl in our party had. Overall great place!

This is not the kind of place that you want to dine at if you are a discriminating Asian foodie. The menu is extensive but the quality of the food is very low. Overly breaded, super deep fried items that are not good quality. Example was the sweet and sour pork was all deep fried batter and no pork. Same with the shrimp. the Lo mein was better quality but not much flavor. You would get a better and more authentic meal at a PF Chang's chain restaurant than at this place and it should be the other way around. One bright spot is their wines by the glass are priced well and the ambiance is pleasant. Lots of parking and nice people. But the food is simply not good quality.
