Why I haven't stopped in here before...I don't know....but I will be back. Excellent food choices....like smoked brisket to die for or pulled pork. Large salads, great daily soups, local craft beers and a good wine list. Menu for the kiddos also....and their chicken nuggets are real chicken breast meat! Indoor and outdoor patio seating available! They have a Happy hour on Tuesdays through Thursday.

Had belated Fatherâs Day breakfast. Even on Tuesday at 11am still had 25 min wait. But food and service were wonderful. Well worth the wait

This place reminded me of all the 50s diners I frequented as a kid with all the familiar dishes. For old timeâs sake I ordered the Hot Beef Sandwich, open faced white bread, heaps of thin sliced beef smothered in brownish/black gravy, like canned Franco-American, with mashed potatoes. It tasted pretty much the way I remembered it. Definitely not gourmet, but tasty and filling. My husband ordered the Patty Melt and said it was the best heâd had in a while. The fries werenât anything to write home or TripAdvisor about, but the coleslaw was quite good. It had a light dressing on it that wasnât sweet or goopy. The ambiance is nice and definitely friendly. The servers are all gracious and welcoming. The place had a number of regulars the servers called by name. I thought it was lovely. The location is a little bit off the beaten path, but it is obviously a locals kind of place that people love. We would eat here again.

Just enjoyed Friday night dinner. We both started with mimosas, then French onion soup and chicken cordon bleu. Absolutely delicious ample portions. We barely had room for chocolate pastries for dessert, but we managed! Parking available behind the restaurant. If we ever return to Escondido, we would definitely look forward to eating there again.

I guess, if you are into fried catfish, this is the place to go. But if you are not, you're out of luck. There is virtually nothing on the menu that's healthy eating. Place looks beat up and down, plastic tablecloth worn off and unappealing. Choice of beer very limited. I am not going back.**

Great place for either sit down or take out meals. They even have ice cream desserts for the kids (or the kid at heart), offer some sweet treats and decent coffee too

The Cafe at Harrah's isn't your typical casual dining restaurant! The Cafe cooks up delicious meals at all hours and is open day and night to serve the early -birds, the night-owls and everyone in between. This comfortable, casual dining spot features int
After waiting in line for 75 minutes in the buffet line and then another 45 minutes at Smashburger the evening before, we decided to go to this cafe for breakfast. The service provided was fantastic and the food was great as well. This place was well staffed and very well organized. Pancakes were excellent and the prices were very reasonable. This and the hotel gift shop were my favorite parts of my overnight stay at this property.

We eat lunch once a month. It's a nice 40 min drive from the Vista location. Vista is always so busy. The Valley Center has atmosphere with gardens, butterflies and it's very tranquil...Their menu is limited, fresh and always yummy.
